I have been watching these videos for a while now, and I'm kind of sorry I never tried to become a farrier-- it seems a very meditative activity to be working on all day. Question: sometimes I see you "fitting" a shoe while it's hot, and sometimes not. In what situations would you use a hot or a cold shoe? What are the advantages for either method?
