I came up with a new way of transferring letters to your tombstones that is super easy and super quick!! After trying every other technique out there I knew there had to be a better way!!
So glad I came across this. I used vinyl lettering I cut out from a silhouette. Its awesome as you can pick whatever font and sticks very well to foam. Downside, rain and sun will eventually mess it up after couple years on display. Thanks for sharing!
I'm a bit late to this party lol, but thank you for this video! There are a number of great tombstone tutorials, but your method for lettering was bar far the easiest (for me, anyway.) =D Banged out 2 tombstone epitaphs and onto a 3rd!
This is so smart! You can even print in gray to use less ink. Where did you buy your router attachment? I bought a dremmel but it didn’t come with one. Thank you!
I was originally going to use a spray adhesive but wasn't sure if it would wipe off with a wet rag? I have an industrial spray one I know for sure won't ever come off haha
Not sure if you have hard about this, but when you spray the stencil with spray adhesive, wait for it to dry to tacky, then you should be able to remove the stencil without tearing...hopefully.
Very cool! Keep up the great work! My concern is with very delicate lettering... It looks like you could snap off some of the delicate parts of the letters with the rubbing of the rag... Have you tried this technique with small, delicate lettering?
+Dan Pitchford Nothing too small but if you let the wet rag sit on the paper for a few minutes it will come right off with virtually no scrubbing needed other than a gentle wipe across the front
+Eerie Acres Cemetery thank you! I may have to give it a try... I usually do the cutting of the letters with the Xacto knife and then Dremel that out... This way would save me that step!
Your best bet would be to do an image search for things like skull vector or halloween vector be sure to use the word vector to get simple black and white diagrams that would transfer easy to carving
@@judichristopher4604 sorry about that most people including myself use a dremel with the router attachment to cut letters out of the foam. you can see my dremel and attachment that i use in the video just past the 4:23 mark
@@EerieAcresCemetery What is a Dremel? SEE my point... We need to SEE and Hear you explain what you're doing... We can't look at your head and know what you're thinking... LOL or if this is Just a video showing and not a DIY then I understand. Don't assume just because you have an instrument in your hand... we know what it is and how to use it. That is like someone with a paint brush in their hands... OKAY... but that doesn't mean we know what you're doing or how to do it. This is a GREAT Video... Just want to KNOW how you do what you do... Thank you
