1800 gross takehome for 3k miles is a ripp off. Thats what u should be making as a w2 with no liability or out of pocket expenses. An employee has workmans comp, unemployment insurance, company pays half of social security tax, and other benefits. Once u factor in all that you will realize how screwed u are getting. Not only that lets add the fact of the reoccurring truck payment and getting in the hole. Lets also add maintenance. Also hotel fees. Not worth it at all!!!
I hope you ain’t quit man if so this is typical RU-vid shxt make videos saying you making money and when you quit it’s the great escape now you are off RU-vid smh I wish you the best tho
I'm just giving my two sense here. A lot of people are not financially savvy and have the wrong mindset. They have a company driver mindset and expect Super Ego to babysit them and throw money at them without actually working for it. A lot of people don't study the lanes. Long story short, a lot of people who go to Super Ego are very ignorant and get mad when they don't make any money.
Junebug Trucking. Wrong. I have 23 yrs experience. Have my own LLC. Have owned my own trucks. I'm all about making money and I know how to do it. I have never had a company driver mindset, even when I was a company driver. SUPER EGO is a scam of a company. They steal the profit right from under you. I'm at a company pulling the same loads with same brokers as SE and am making money. O/O money. Funny right?
It varies. Last week it was just over $2300. The highest has been just under $3500. Freight rates can be rather variable and if I spend a couple days at home...
You also need to take into account the 12% you are paying Super Ego, unless you're counting that in your deductions. To get 7k gross to your company, you actually need roughly 8k on rate cons per week to cover that, correct?
