I caught that. The one integrated into the arm rest is NOT super duty thankfully there are the one on the center console the rear passengers can get to.

I was not much for trucks being used for private use until we had to buy a new pick-up and a van for my wife's company. While ordering a Ford Transit van with the high roof (which we found by far the steadiest of all brands we had tried) - we saw a 2015 F-150 Lariat on the floor and we bought it on the spot. My wife has a Subaru, I had a Toyota Venza but for any trip, we would take from now in the F-150! I was a professional musician (among others concertmaster of the Minnesota Orchestra) for 70 years and the sound in the Transit is the best auto sound I have heard. And now, that my Venza was totaled in an accident I had ordered on my 79th birthday a new 2019 F-150 King Ranch with everything it has to offer and also a Leer XR100 bed topper. More excited about my new car than in 58 years of driving!

The leather in King Ranch trucks actually come from the cows at King Ranch in Texas. It is raw hide leather, very tough and very durable, yet luxurious.

I used to dream about owning a raptor, king ranch is my dream now. What an incredible truck. Just recently got my first ever truck, a 150xlt. I always plan my next vehicle so i know what im working for after i buy one. Next is a king ranch for sure.

Is the B&O sound system unique to the king ranch or also in the platinum and limited editions? Also could you make a vid of the factory sound system and how it sounds? Or can anyone attest to the quality of the b&o system in it? Ill be moving back to america in around 5 or 6 yrs and wanting a f250 either king ranch or upper model. I love my audio as im an audiophile. Which is why im doing a full focal makeover in my mirrage g4 which im getting around 70mpg in it so it'll be kept for the fuel economy. But gotta have a truck too.

The 2018 f150 Platinum uses real wood on the door panels. I would think the 2019 f250 KR would also use real wood, not synthetic.

We got 3 new 6.7 lariats for work and I can say after using both GMC and Ford. Ford is hands down built the most cheap way possible. From plastic tie rod ends to the cheap plastic all over the dash. Ford is nice but no where near the quality of GMC. A 2016 Chevy has better build quality than 2020 Ford.

Can someone please tell this guy that ALL upper trim level F-series pick-up's from King Ranch to Limited have GENUINE WOOD TRIM on the doors and dash - NOT SYNTHETIC WOOD. He makes the same synthetic wood comment on every F-series video he makes and IT IS ANNOYING. How can you explain and sell the positives of a product when you really don't know what you're talking about!!

@@CarolinaCarVideos the limited is the most luxurious super duty ever. Platinum is the second most luxurious! Because they both have massaging seats. Because I got a 2018 F150 limited in blue jeans metallic and I'll tell you right now, that thing is a luxurious yacht of a truck. I understand there are some bad opinions about the blue leather! But just in case you didn't know, that blue leather has half of the material leathery that all yachts have. Just so you know! The Limited trucks are fancy special! Just saying!

Oh , and a super dumb question, but the auxillary switches on top. What on earth could I hook up to that? I know a lightbar, maybe a winch, but other than those, what else could it be used for?

So yes all those switch's are for hooking up lights or camera's. If you have a 5th wheel trailer hooked up you may need them. Plus if you have a mobile home/ camper hooked up you'll probably need to use them for extra power.

Kristen Moon i hook up my tidy tanks to them so the fuel is alot harder to steal. I also live in Alberta canada so one switch controls my high idle as in the winter we get as cold as -50c. Ford offers a rear camera for your trailer that can be mounted on the rear of your trailer and plugs into the same spot as your trailer lights with and adapter. So you dont use up any switches. Switch 5 and 6 are 40 amp switches. 1-4 are 25amp. Made the switch from dodge at the end of 2016 and currently own 3 2018 F450’s 2 being limited trims and 1 King ranch. I would never go back to dodge now that i have started to own fords.

I believe that it comes standard on the trucks so it's not a dealer special. It does fold down and is lockable as well.

You asked that your viewers leave a comment. Here is mine. I have been a ford truck owner virtually my whole life. I am currently looking to purchase my next truck. Yes, I would love it to be the king ranch, currently I have a southern comfort 2007 with the 5.4 triton, which I have absolutely babied. The "King Ranch" is beautiful and very well design, but unfortunately I can not justify the high cost. I would love to find a hold over from a previous model year. I would consider the xlt but I haven't located one with the larger center screen. A lariat which I currently own is darn near the price of the king ranch but has most of the bells I am looking for. Keep up the good videos even if I hate spending the money on one it's still nice to view. Love the 6.7,

I have the 17 f350 xlt 6.7 for work.It has the bigger screen. The creature comforts in these rigs are fantastic, even on the lower trim models. I've worked out of dodge's for a long time, but Ford has it dialed in with making it functional for work. I agree with you 100% the prices are pretty rich. Especially for someone who's going to put the thing to work. I would opt for leather next go round just for the ease of cleaning vs the cloth.

Nobody ever mentions the payload or cargo capacity of specific trim levels. I know it depends on the options, but at least we’d have an idea before I have to go have a salesperson let me look at the sticker inside the door frames on the lot.

Valid point in the cup rest. No idea why they put cup holder in the armrest and the back of the console. The armrest holders are always awkward to use.

They need another option for the interior color. Maybe all black with the embossed logo. This is why I have not bought a new one along with a couple other items. 1. Why can't I order chrome bumpers on a Platinum? 2. Why can't I order a camper package on a Platinum? I heard it is because of the 20" wheels. I should at least be able to order the rear anti-sway bar. 3. Living in Alaska the heated steering wheel should be an option on Lariat package; std on KR, Plat., and Limited. 4. For what they cost where is the HUD?

Buy an aftermarket Hellwig sway bar if you need one. Thats what I did on my 2012. And its heaver duty then the factory one anyways. They also make a replacement BIG WIG sway bar for the front that is way better then the factory front bar.

I want one of these new luxury trucks so I could tour around America, I have a goal in life to get a million miles on my favorite vehicle platforms. My list goes full sized truck, full sized sedan, full sized motorcycle, and a full sized SUV. Long story short is I like driving and by the time I start making real money and not just a high school fast food job I can start making that a reality.
