1:18 The secret door hidden inside of the wall was just the reflection in the mirror of the door in the room with Snowman's Land magic picture. Also, the Boo hidden inside of the wall was just the reflection in the mirror of the Lakitu Camera cloud. Nothing was hidden away from you. It's also possible to look through the walls and see some secret big star doors, a mistery F floating in the air, or even the two pillars in the wall of the basement. Just keep looking through the walls!
Wow, I never knew about the one with Mario holding his cap. That's pretty funny. There's a much easier way to get Zombie Mario (#2), in Shifting Sand Land. Just get in the cannon, point the cannon as far up and to the left as possible, and fire. Mario will hit an invisible wall, take fall damage, and land back in the cannon. Repeat until he has no health, and then shoot him out again (preferably with Wing Cap).
That hidden door is just one of the doors in the room downstairs. Doors are programmed to appear in all rooms, not just one room like most objects, because they need to be visible from both sides (in two different rooms). Not sure what the white dots are...
You're right. The room downstairs is connected to the one he is in, however when he goes through the star door downstairs, it disables the rooms textures to conserve memory space. (N64 Era people, not a lot of memory space.) If he were to leave his current room through the star door downstairs, then that rooms textures would unload. As you mentioned earlier though, the doors textures remain loaded at all times. As for Flam1o's claims as to the white dots being the Lakitu's cloud from the mirror, they are questionable. Although strange it is possible that the mirror lakitu entity unloaded but the cloud texture did not, but it could be something else entirely despite that lakitu's cloud is the most likely answer.
Trystan Everly I think the cloud probably also remains loaded at all times, because the same texture can be used elsewhere, and you need to be able to see him from outside the room while going through the door.
· 0xFFF1 TheNinjaBees: Whoa. Deja vu. 0xFFF1: What did you say? TheNinjaBees: Nothing. Just has a little deja vu. 0xFFF1: What did you see? What happened? TheNinjaBees: A number 10 came up on the screen, then another that looked just like it. 0xFFF1: How much like it? Was it the same 10? TheNinjaBees: It might have been. I'm not sure. 0xFFF1: thedreadedzero! BAC0N B!TS! TheNinjaBees: What's going on? 0xFFF1: A deja vu is usually a glitch in the Video. It happens when the change something.
I love trying to walk on the railings inside the main room of the castle when you first come in the front. I don't remember if it happened on the actual Nintendo 64 but if you can balance on the railing for a few seconds the whole game shakes, sort of like an earthquake effect.
a similar glitch to #2 is in Drawn to Life- Spongebob Squarepants edition; if you are in the dutchman's ship level, you need to get yourself down to one life, then in one area of the room (or several), make sure you are in the interaction range of the easel you will see. Let yourself get killed by a ghost, then when the screen shades black, interact with the easel. exit the easel screen, and you're life bar will not be displayed(empty). This can be very useful if you are near a life item to heal yourself back up without a game over. However, be careful because although the bar will not be displayed, you have only one life, so if you take damage before you can heal, its over.
Hay guys i would just like to say how awesome you both are and all these hate comments i see that are really mean but dont let those hold you back because like i said your both amazing 😃😃😃 PS i love your majoras mask series and just to let you know im following along with it PPS your amazing😃
There is a RU-vidr called Theo, wich litterally took not just content but even video material from your video and made his own video with it. It is called "Die 5 besten Mario 64 Glitches 🤣".
i remember that there where two people... i forget thier names, but you guys did mod showcases and glitches... like the maid mod and the fire underwater glitch... those where the days
The secret door is not a secret: if you think closely, this door is the mirror reflection of the door in the room with Snowman's Land magic picture! I can tell the same thing about the Lakitu cloud inside of the wall! It's also possible to look through the walls and see some floating star doors, pillars, or even floating letter F! Just try it! Don't miss any secret in the walls!
the third one... number 8 glitch... isnt a secret door. a room is conected to the room he was in but the textures were turned off to save data. going out of the door to the room without textures will switch that room to having textures and the previous room to have none. its like going from a lit room in your house... turning the light off in that room.... and going to a different room not lit and then turning the light off.
I had a weird glitch today, I left my N64 on for about 40 minutes with sm64 running, then I come back and it's making weird sounds and Mario's textures are messed up,
_Snow Gold Yes, it is a lakitu cloud. the boo is completely unloaded when you go upstairs, but the mirror near snowman's land is loaded. lakitu's cloud appears there even if you aren't in the room.
