Super Mario Land OUT NOW on Game Boy Nintendo Switch Online! 

Now Daisy fans are going to learn that Sarasaland isn't just a desert and is actually four biomes in one landmass for the first time.

Nice to see Daisy’s Debut title making a comeback.

Alleyway is also considered a Mario game, and is one of the few without his name in the title. He controls the Breakout paddle, and several puzzles in-game if I recall correctly are shaped like various Mario enemies.

The fact that Daisy has 4 Kingdoms that make up Sarasaland makes her more of a Empress than a princess. Also fun fact, the bosses in Mario Land are actually the rulers of each Kingdom & are controlled by Tantanga's spell.

I finally legally have all the mainline Mario games. I have been playing these games since my early childhood in the Wii DS era. I have got all the ones that came out since then on their consoles, and I have the older games through NSO and Sunshine through SM3DAS.

I Absolutely Love *Super Mario Land* SO much, with Princess Daisy herself of the Sarasaland Kingdom from my Childhood Years! Can't wait to play this on the Nintendo Switch this year!

Took them long enough to add the first Super Mario Land to the service. Seems weird that it wasn't available from the get-go. Also, I remember Alleyway from the old days, and I've played that a good deal back then. (0:35) COINS!!! That was always fun to do in the world 3 and 4 bonus rooms that were just loaded with coins, cleaning them out with the help of Superballs.

On all gaming platforms of the service and more are missing such as Sega Master System, Sega Saturn, Wonder Swan, Neo Geo Pocket, Sega Dreamcast, Sega Game Gear, etc.

I love how instead of being happy Super Mario Land is finally on Switch Online, everyone is angry at Nintendo for not including the game sooner.

For the first time Super Mario Land has save states. And that means you can save the game after you beat it the first time and play through the difficult mode on the menu screen when ever you want.

It makes sense why now is when we get these, May is the in-between point of the Game Boy's launch dates for both the U.S. and Japan. As for tonight's selection, now is the best time for these launch titles, as the naysayers would have complained quite loudly if Alleyway were added within a so-called "quality drought" years after launch. Plus, it's customary to get most of the early first-party titles out of the way within the first couple years. Not having these already, felt quite odd. As for what's next: We'll likely see more of the earlier Game Boy titles in the near future, such as: Radar Mission, F-1 Race, Solar Striker, Golf, and Tennis [the final launch title], whereas NES and SNES might show up less often to let Game Boy catch up. As for SEGA Genesis, I'm honestly starting to worry about that. it's been 11 months since the last update, is the deal expiring? regardless, maybe the June Direct will shed some light on what's going on. Also: forget about seeing anything for N64 this month, it's GBA's turn!

Something tells me they really should've kept the monthly update cycle or push it to every two or so months if it took them *this* long to add one of the Gameboy's LAUNCH titles.

Hopefully we get Pokémon RBGY, GSC and the grading card game. I know those are all big games not developed by Nintendo. But I know Nintendo can get gamefreak on the bandwagon of bring their popular rpgs to the switch. And of course Pokémon Colosseum & XD remakes need to happen. Which they seem to have forgotten but they did acknowledge the GameCube Pokémon games in one of their previous Pokémon directs and presents.
