Maybe we couldn’t hear the crowds applause because it is outside and it was particularly windy But look how happy they were, almost brought me to tears
Nintendo is back baby! They did it again with Super Mario Odyssey. They took the challenge and showed us how is done! :D As a videogames fan who played on Nintendo consoles since the days of the NES, I'm so glad Nintendo is back on track. This year has been so full of surprises for Nintendo Switch between announcements of future games and games that got released during this year 2017. Iwata gave his life for Nintendo. He left the company as stable as possible and left the legacy of the Nintendo Switch (let's remember this console's development started when Iwata was still alive and was still President of Nintendo), and Kimishima knew (and still knows) exactly what to do with what Iwata left for him and the company. Here is where we see how you don't need an overpowered console to get videogame masterpieces on it. All you need is talent, passion, will to take challenges, to think outside the box, and that's what Nintendo always tries to do :)
I so wanted to be a cynical Brit... but tearing up instead. It's like a worldwide realisation that the world would be sad place without Nintendo. And we have all suddenly started celebrating how amazing they are. 47 yrs old and spent my whole life playing Nintendo . Spent day with 18 yr old son playing odyssey like it was ten years ago and we were playing galaxy. Magic.... thanks nintendo
David Lewis We have the same feels for the BIG N. I am a 43 year old myself and I tell my 7 and 10 year olds about growing up playing Mario. Heck , we've been playing Mario Oddessy for the last 3 days.I remember actually playing both Mario Bros and the very first Super Mario Bros at the arcade. Most don't know that Super Mario Bros was originally an arcade game.
I am so happy to see Nintendo get back to form and be more modern. They lost their way for a while now with the Switch they really are making the change that they needed to make a while ago. Yetstill holding on to some of the old ways that made them great. Nice to see them allow 3rd party mature games on their console yet bring games that are still very kid friendly. Right now they are the only console with real balance to attract every audience. This will be their success if the third party mature games keep coming.
I still Wish Satoru Iwata the 4th Nintendo President Ghost in Arcade Heaven was Here to see this, But If wasn't for Mr. Iwata's Sacrifice, We wouldn't have all of this. U _ U
Just saw my son play some of the NYC bit of the game & had to YT the song. I’ve been a broke dance mom for 10+ yrs. Hope my daughter gets such experiences in life. So to anyone critiquing them, this is a dream come true for them & for the parents who have funded their dance classes. ☺️
It was all over the world, it's just that they did a bit more stuff in NY because that's the release date and one of the biggest Nintendo stores in America.
Why do i live so far away this looks beautiful That's why I love Nintendo. They do random crap like this, make it amusing. Looking forward to getting a Switch + Oddysey on my next birthday but it's so far away ;-;
