I still think this is the best rendition of this theme. it's literally the game version but without snes sound compression, so it still perfectly fits that tone that the other versions really havent
That’s exactly what I was thinking! I asked myself if there is going to be a live-action Metroid movie with Brie Larson, Zendaya, Samuel L. Jackson, and Michael Keaton.
+Sever More tell you what, it's more a matter of opinion, l personally like the first person shooter of the prime trilogy more than the side-scrolling platformer of the first ones, and know that l agree that graphics are not the most important thing in a game, but they are important
***** l understand you l like 3rd person more 1st but l don't know for metroid l think it works better in 1st, but as l told you is just a matter opinion, maybe if you play metroid other m which is 3rd person...although other m is kinda different from other metroid games

(Yes, I am fanboy-ing, Deal With it People who hate fanboys and fangirls.
Samus-Sama is just too damn COOL!!! X3 When an entire militarized force can't handle a situation, they send ONE PERSON in to do the job. And when she succeeds and leaves, the planet fucking explodes.
in my opinion,Samus aran to this day is still one of the greatest Female videogame heroes of all time. she was a trailblazer, back when having a female lead was genuine and not some pandering trope. she is smart, driven and Mysterious..and of course she can kick asses when need be,from blasting through walls to destroying entire planets and everything in between.
All i can say is, Metroid chokes me up whenever I think about it. I grew up (and am still growing up) watching my dad play Metroid prime. It brought me joy to say "The boss has half health and you've got 5 extra tanks. You can do this." And the sheer happiness it brought me to say "He's almost dead! You can do this!" was immeasurable. Hearing the Tallon overworld song always calms me and excites me at the same time to this day. Now the circle is turning and i am playing Metroid prime. And it sc-
You know, I started playing this game again yesterday after a long break, and the impression it left on me was insane; I actually found myself sitting there hypnotized with my mouth open in astonishment, and I kept playing for several hours without even noticing. There's something with this game that makes it so damn pleasant to play.
I remember playing this game when i was 4 years old best days of my life and i remember booting up the game and hearing this song (in 16bit ofcourse lol) great song brings me right back to 94 5*
Omg I LOVE THIS GAME!! its was one of the first few games I got on the SNES when I was a kid as a gift. Loved it since and still play it sometimes when I feel for a playthrough :D This game remains my favorite EVER xP Music from this game has always been in my head for years lol xD
Ah, that makes sense now. I found this randomly and thought I recognized it, but couldn't remember where I could've heard it before. This explains a lot.
***** I second this, especially if they give it a good budget and let a good studio handle it. Could be just the jumpstart the series needs to get back in the public eye.
Ahh, I loved how they used this music as the GF Trooper's theme in Echoes, when Samus watches their video log. Can you imagine a movie with US Marines/Special Ops or somesuch, with this as their theme music? I can. And it is *awesome*.
To everyone concerning the roots of Metroid: all great works have numerous great inspirations. Metroid comes from some truly unique staples of sci-fi/horror. I urge all fellow fans of the series to seek out these inspirations, and see for yourselves why they served as foundations, rather than quibbling about them on RU-vid. ;)
