You have to fight metroids in the dark? That's awesome!

quick tips: when laying a bomb, you don't have to jump every time. if you shoot in prone as the bomb goes off, you should stay in place. If you tap jump, release, then hold jump again, you keep your momentum, allowing you to mockball quickly, without having to hit the roof or something. taping L and/or R repetitively (arm pumping) advances Samus 1 pixel every time. Do it as much as you can when running on flat and you can save several seconds in a run. Tapping L or R while somersaulting up to a ledge increases your hitbox, allowing you to save frames when climing sections Nice semi-TAS run, though!

That was cool how you hacked in that Venus Flytrap boss at around the 8:50 mark. I wish he existed in the regular Super Metroid.

I just came up with a great idea for optimal path. I'm going to go intended path until the reserve tank before the speed booster, then using the reserve tank I'll sequence break to reach gold torizo and use debug code to get most items. I tested it out and got 1:24 with almost no optimization at all.

is it possible to get soft locked in this game? i got the varia suit but no super missles and i need them to get out of where i am. either that or gravity suit i think om stuck
