Gene Wood is one of the best announcers in the world of game shows. His best work is from the Richard Dawson version of "Family Feud."

Something some people may not know about Gene Wood and other announcers. They are actually the ones who get the audience going before the show starts. Gene was a very funny guy.

ETA: Actually, I can do one better. It's the final season premiere from September 26, and it turns out this has the whole episode up.
