I loved watching Jeff Glover teaching this same idea, a few years ago... He also does it from the guard. When they are in your closed guard, you sit up and fake a hip bump sweep. That leaves their neck open for this same choke.

I tried this while rolling the other day, and while I do think the set up works really well, it seems to be best suited for arm in guillotines. Me myself, I have never really gotten the hang of the arm in (probably because of short arms), and usually just do the standard ones with just the head. I don't know how well this will work for that, but I will play around with it some more and see if I can figure something out. Thanks for a great set up!

Rener, I see a lot of videos on how to choke someone out (such as this one.) and that's all well and good! But what if I do choke someone out? What if I apply a rear naked choke, or even a guillotine, and my opponent just doesn't want to tap and they go unconscious. How do we revive them? Do they need to go to the hospital? There is a dangerous lack of information on this subject and I think a video on this would be helpful.
