Really fun. I hate being pedantic, but the misspelling of Bugle bothered me right out of the gate . But only because the rest of your production work is so awesome! Keep up the good work!
Yeah, I was gonna be jerk and yell "None of the above and it's a trick question!!!". I'm glad I didn't. My wife started looking at me kinda funny when I said " Betty Brandt" out loud... Ol' Angus had some 'spainin' to do!
I was disappointed Liz Allan didn't make the list. He seemed to like her a lot. It's been a long time since I read those old issues, they were new then.
10/10! Woohoo! Even I'm shocked about that. Boy, was this fun. The last one had me worried initially, but after hearing Greek Mythology, and me being a big fan of it, I was able to get it right. Also, yes, I'll definitely look up those works. Mwahahahaha.
I got to the Kingpin level, and I figured Betty Brant was Peter Parker's first love interest (I read a reprint of an old Spidey comic, which was also the first appearance of the Spider Slayer robots--it also hinted at that answer).
This is better compared to the first one. I got to Mysterio level and most of the questions answers correctly were easy ones and about the movies. Keep making these up! They are fun!
Came in late and missed the first two questions, but I got six out of eight. I'm a huge fan of Eric Stanton's art, but really, you should have referred to him as Ditko's "office-mate" not room-mate. Also, Stan never remembered where he got the "great responsibility" line. Nice to have that cleared up.
That line or something similar appears in the works of Shakespeare and Voltaire. A line that is close to that also appears in the Old Testament...but Shakespeare and Voltaire probably learned it from a Roman writer named Cicero who recounted The Sword of Damocles legend in his writings.
Very good, One of the most important things about Spider-Man is that number 15 of amazing fantasy is that he was only supposed to be a one shot story pretty much like a twilight zone story of responsibility and great power and yes pun intended. But this particular story was so popular that they had to bring him back. So he got his series and the rest is history . good job on all the questions let’s keep this going.
Your last one I went 5 for 5, this one I went 5 for 10! WTF!!! Ditko's roommate? Seriously? That answer sounded like something out of Spaceballs. Great video man, keep them coming.
Thanks for playing Quasi Terrible! Yeah, I thought people would like the room-mate question. I didn't mention it in the video, but Stanton and Ditko would help each other. They often would ink the other's pencils.
8/10 GREEN GOBLIN LEVEL Now I guessed #7 correctly because I know they’re from the same part of Queens as Spidey but I really didn’t know which group sang it. I like this format better. I got 0/5 last time.
The music for "Darkman" was composed by Danny Elfman, who created many superhero soundtracks, notably 1989's Tim Burton's "Batman", among many, many others.
I had that Saturday morning cartoon CD, so I got that one right. Loved Hong Kong Phooey by Sublime. Didn't the Violent Femmes do the Jetson one? Eep-Eep-op-op-ee-ah-ah-ee-ahh-ahh (means I love you) or something like that. Loved that album.
I had a laugh. Felt so cocky after first 3 questions, though am MysterioKingpinnish. So what comics I have to read now? Unseeable stuff is still quite unseen at the moment. Till the next bash.
I'm a Vulture, it seems i'm more skilled in Punk-rock than in Comics ! 😂 Cool you mentioned the great and awful Butthole Surfers, they did a track called Iron Man.
I liked your two trivia videos, though I liked your first video, 'Golden Age,' better because it was far more challenging. This one was just far too easy for me. I do like that you made it ten questions rather than five, though. I hope you have a third one this Friday. You always put out such great work. :)
I was at the green goblin level. I'd missed the one on who created the web-shooter and the very last one. The irony is that the story on the last question was featured on the See U in History/Mythology youtube channel about a month or two ago and I'd forgot about it. Liked the new format.
Should have gone with my gut for the love interest and the famous quote. Instead, I landed 50% today. This was awesome, loved the new format! This would be fun if you were able to do a live show once a month or so!
3:28 Technically you could make the argument that the '90s animated series also had Uncle Ben say it, just not on screen. Peter would mention in his inner thoughts that his Uncle Ben always used to tell him those words. Heck, in the final episode Uncle Ben (from the armored Spider-Man universe) asks Peter (Spider-Carnage) if he remembers what he used to tell him and it's that recognizable quote.
8 out of 10. this was fun. 10 questions is better. the easy ones were too easy for me. when I can answer before the options come up it's too easy. keep these coming.
My score Peter Parker got right SpiderMan Comics got right Fantasy 15 Story got right Easy Questions got right Stan Lee only half right, knew it was either or between two of the options Third Person wrong SpiderMan Theme wrong Sam Raimi got right Wrestling Legend half right Spider-man's motto half right I'm Kingpin level
6:06 The Answer and the Facts about that answer, it's truly puzzling and needs to be more references in Future Marvel and Spider-man documentaries ...I NEVER KNEW !!! as for Eric Staton work ...OH BOY 😍 what kinky looking ladies ...now it make sense we don't know about him and I've heard his artwork inspired Madonna's Human Nature music video.
I like the 10 questions format, but even amongst the harder ones, I found this questions easier than last time. Probably because I'm more familiar with Spider-man than with Golden Age heroes in general.
I sort of thought that was going to be the case. People are more familiar with the character. It's harder to come up with questions that people don't know.
I got green goblin, 8 of em right, I was tripped up by who was Spider-Man's first love interest because I thought it was a reverse reverse question where the one least obvious is actually the one that's most obvious thusly the one that's normally most obvious should be the one that's right I.e Mary Jane win an actuality the correct answer was the least obvious one being Betty Brant, then the question on who created the web shooters flip me up because I knew Larry Lieber was a behind the scenes major part of characters like Spider-Man so I assumed he was the one who created the web shooters with what I knew Awesome vide, when I got the last one right I hollered out "yeah" and did a fist pump I think this 10 question format is really good although some of the questions felt a bit too easy but then again I am very well educated on this stuff so that's probably just me being a bit too smart for my own good
1D/2 C?/3 D?/ 4 A/5 A?/6 B ?/ 7 The Ramones (I have this CD Saturday Morning Cartoons' Greatest Hits got in the 90's and it is GREAT)buy if you don't have it!!.8 C ?? I hope it is DARKMAN?? 9 D?? Snap into a Slin Jim guy?? 10 is a guess... C????? Don't know how I did,but I played fair. I did stop the vid to think a bit. But The Ramones thing I knew in a flash. Fun game.
@@FizzFop1 I got 6. I love the song Gigantor Helmet does on the CD. Did you have the CD Space Ghost's Musical Bar-B-Que: Featuring 25 Hickory-Smoked Harmonies. I had it but lost it some how. Very funny stuff.
I had an awesome time watching old Macho Man clips. He's has to be one of the greatest trash talkers of all time. I was literally laughing my ass off...and then when I found the Greek mythology line...this was fate wanting me to do it.
@@FizzFop1 The last one was the one I missed, it was pretty tough. The one about "With Great Power Comes Great Responsibility" before that was also tough, my answer was almost different!!!
Have you ever looked into the British comics . We have a comic called the hornet featured the king Cobra and many other comics with serial strips during the 60s and 70s ... Desperate Dan was a classic
A cuople I used to b Buy was wizzer and chips . Dandy beano etc but we have a adult comic called the Viz which had a large following of grown ups with some very iconic characters such as Sid the sexist . Roger melly our man on the telly
@@raybokor2 Back in the early 90s, my sister moved to the U.K. She use to send me VIZ books...they were a lot of fun to read. Reminded me of the underground comix here in the states.
