Finlay from Future Sound Systems brings us some ' West Country Synthesis' in the form of a new (and to all knowledge totally unique) analogue oscillator called the Cyclical Engine and an updated 'FIL3' filter which is a new revised Spectral Devastator (dual filter HP-LP). Lots of sweet spots, great functions on the new oscillator and a lovely sound to the filter.

Would love to hear more musical ambient stuff done with these. Seems like really useful, versatile and rich modules that are fairly easy to make actual music with . Sounds there that reminds me of what I'v done with a Korg monotron while waiting for the buss. Clean, yet hard and aggressive, (bla bla words) or something like that... Btw Korg, if you are there, probably not but if I shout? PLEASE MAKE MODULES OF THE TRONS!

You can get pretty much the exact same filter as the monotron if you look for a Sallen-Key filter, which there are many of in Eurorack.

You got me started on the FSS stuff when I won one of the Divmas prizes and you gave me a Gristleizer TG3 Filter! Thanks again for that! Since then I’ve been impatiently awaiting what’s next from them, I’m really interested in the VCO with the inject function thingy.lol
