Man, I'd kill for a re-release of Katanagatari in the states as one big boxset with this new opening instead of the original two. It'll never happen, but I'd still love to see it happen.

I really love ryo's lyrics. From an early beginning where words seemed to represent from girl's perspective. But I don't think he'll appreciate their fans attacking the other bands (ODDS &ENDS?). Why not just enjoy the music?

I recently finished the Katanagatari anime. I started watching it because i thought this song was going to be played at the opening or the ending but it didn't.. in the end, it was still a great anime :P

yeah, at least it's good enough to watch it, really. Though sometimes it feels somewhat slow in some episodes, since you would expect it to be full of action. It has almost a piece of everything: gore (at the last episodes), drama, action, deep story (though it can tend to be confusing until before the end), romance, etc (at least in my opinion).
tell me what you think about the first episode. I know it may be something negative since it has more drama and eplanation of the background of the story more than anything else.
This sounds so similar to " 凛として咲く花の如く" from the bemani music game series for some reason. I wonder if its because its a classical japanese piece they're based on.
Koeda-chan, the singer for this song, is just a 17-year-old now, so she still has to attend high school. Maybe her high school don't like her focusing on anything else outside of academia. There are a lot of schools like that in Japan.
I totally agree with you. Supercell is great, every song they make is wonderfull, but Today Is A Beautiful Day is the best album (to my taste). Perfect Day... enogh said :)
