Why is this an Eaton swap? It's just adding a roots supercharger to a N.A vehicle right?

I have a 2007 grand marquis and I want a supercharger in it but don’t know what to look for any help please

All Marauders have a center console shifter

No it bolts right up after you grind a little material off the bottom of the lower intake and flatten the coolant return tube on the back of the water pump a little. Also have to grind off the knock sensor bosses on the block and relocate the knock sensor to the back of the cylinder head

There's a 2003 300a and 2003 300b. The 300b's had traction control and no center clock

@@greatoutdoorsman2009 I thought the 2003 had the locking gas door, yours has the 2004 gas door.

@@douglaspawlik 300a's had a locking gas door and map pockets, mine is a later 2003 300b. 300b's had the same features as 2004 marauders because all 2004's were 300b's

@@jonnyvargas9394 right. You have to extend the wires for the intake air temperature sensor from the marauder harness since it's located on the back of the intake manifold on a cobra and nit built into the maf like on the marauder

@@greatoutdoorsman2009 oh ok, so when you go past 120mph does the driveshaft vibrate or you don't feel anything

@@krownvikkhris3004 there's a slight vibration, either drive shaft or slightly unbalanced tire

@@greatoutdoorsman2009 ok, you may have to get it rebalanced for higher topspeed with the 3.55s because I have an 06 P71 crownvic with 3.27s and I can do 135mph with no problem.

@@greatoutdoorsman2009 or find an Aluminium metal matrix driveshaft from a 99-2000 P71 crownvic police interceptor. They could sustain speeds higher that 120mph with 3.55s when equipped with that special driveshaft. I'm tryna find one now for my car

You can have the stock one modified or delete it. I just went with a stainless shortened one from Gerald Irwin

@@greatoutdoorsman2009 I understand! I was offered $20k for mine a short time back and still said no. I went through hell to get mine and it just is worth more than it's value to me.

So, update: horrible of horrible happened to me. Hit a deer with MM. The damage wasn't horrible but because of major inflation, the insurance really doesn't want to fix it. The quote for repair was almost $7k. Insurance, if I want to keep, will give me $7500 after salvage! I told the adjuster that made no sense to give me more money than it costs to fix just to fix it. I'm trying to find a second opinion but I'm in a smaller part of Texas (not near any metroplexes) and everyone is backed up a lot to even give a quote. The cruddy thing is, it runs and drives fine there's no sub frame damage, just hood, front clip and passenger front fender. The labor for the replacement of bolting on parts and paint is almost $3k that's what is really causing the problem. Anyway, thought I'd share. It's so disheartening.
