He could probably smell the E85 and knew that it had to have at the very least had a fuel system done on it as those older cars fuel systems couldnt handle the E without eating all the lines right out of it. And pretty much no one does a fuel system without some type of power adder.

@@tyler1988 I dunno about the MM's but the newer Vic's, Grand Marq's, and Town Car's all had a flex fuel option...But I don't remember the exact year they started with Flex fuel options...My guess is around 2005 since that's why they switch to drive by wire.

@@zippymax1 Likely rear mount turbo/turbos in front. Maybe even in front of some mufflers since it was so quiet. Under the hood it can look almost bone stock except the fact that the intake is a metal charge pipe instead of a plastic tube leading to an air box. They typically dont use intercoolers either as the charge pipe connecting the turbos to the intake act as its own intercooler. He also could've seen a fuel system upgrade to handle E85. But given how quiet those turbo noises were, I'm banking on single or twin rear mount whirly bois.

Love it ! My pops bought one new. Even took my road test in it. He left it to me when he passed but it caught fire last year and burned to the ground. Cant wait to rebuild it one day. If I had to guess that car is a Navi 5.4 4v full intervals gt500 heads. And a twin turbo setup.

My Dad got one when they first came out and they are truly badass. He gave me his 1986 2 door Grand Marquis as my first car, (miss that one for sure 😥) after he got himself a newer 95 Grand Marquis. When this thing came out, it was perfect for him. He still has his original 69' Boss 429 that he bought brand new, and is a car guy to the core, but this was a perfect choice for a "regular driver". Thanks for the video, made me think of him. Have fun.

My dad was a Mercury marques guy too then in 2004 he bought a marauder. That was an awesome car. He willed it to my brother who promptly sold it. If it was willed to me it would still be in my garage.

LOL but marauders are their own monster. They have the bigger better 4.6L cobra engine basically. And way more sportier. They were a car thought to give the 94-96 impala SS a big F U. And it did. I am surprised him being a Chevy guy he never built a Impala SS. I think he realizes Ford are good and I picturing him and the rest going coyote soon. With a built coyote mustang fox or not he would put Leroy and ruby to shame.

Hell yeah looks fun. I picked up a 2004 benz wagon e 320 a few years back it's a 6er but it is a fun car too daily driver for now. Its quite and fast. Be safe fellas
