Alex Shapsenzon I would say he had less character so it was more prominent. He's pretty much as violent but just more relatable.

They didn't tone it down, Brock grew as a character and has more to him than Super Kill Guy, now. He went from a lone bodyguard on an assignment he wasn't even trusted enough to have the real details of to one of the major figures in OSI intelligence, after all. He's still plenty violent when he gets the chance to be. One of the episodes of the last season featured him murdering an entire division of Strangers and sending their bodies back to their base in increasingly mangled fashion to try and goad them to send even more guys for him to murder.
