I think you have a very good point. Those in the know, know how good they are - but they deserve more praise. I guess it is similar to the Kinks who were somewhat overshadowed by the Beatles and Stones in the 60s.
¡¡¡HECHO!!!
I've seen the Sleaford Mods, Little Simz, Jack White, Amyl and Sniffers, Gabriels, Mccartney, all great performances but by far the most impressive band there were Supergrass, I'd almost forgotten about them! EVERY single tune was a classic, tight AF, without doubt one of the best bands from the 90's era and hugely underrated.
I only saw the quick "Alright" on the BBC. Been a massive SUpergrass fan for longer than I remember, have seen them live many times, truly great. Any chance of linking or vids to more of their show at Glasto? Cheers!
I remember their glasto back in 95. What a band one of the best 90s bands. Danny on the sticks just glued everything together, how that whole kit is moving while he’s smashing fuck out of it but in a elegant way. What a band man and Gaz is still cool as fuck! 😎
Finally they get the recognition again. One of the best bands of the 90s onwards that people forget for some reason. Incredible songs and some killer sideburns back then.
When there's nothing but death, destruction and misery in the world I come here to look at something nice and happy. Love that everyone is having a good time.
Some lovely bass playing here Great performance and Gaz' voice still sounds fantastic Saw them live in 2003 and they were brilliant back then, almost 20 years later, they still sound so good
Ahh 15 yrs old working as a pot wash in my local pub with this on the radio...takes me back this tune does. I remember me and the waitresses doing some silly dance as they came through the swinging kitchen doors hearing this song. Good old days!
Supergrass were the highlight of the whole festival for me. Their pure class, talent and professionalism shines through in a world of autotune and drum machines.
Long ago...i used to get ready for college. I would get dressed up...some aftershave 😂...start up my scooter and kick off. All the time thia song playing on my walkman. now many years later....everytime i listen to this song i feel i am back to those days. thank u guys for these memories.🥲
I Love Supergrass and I love the performance they did at Glastonbury 2022. Please please can someone download all the other songs from them from that festival and put them on RU-vid and not just "Alright". I'm desperate to watch it again. It was a brilliant performance from them and I miss watching it. Gaz and the boys, you are wonderful.
Me hace sentir vivo.
Loved em back in the day. Thought they were brilliant and actually got quite emotional realising how great they still sound 27 years after their 1st Glastonbury appearance.
@@saulibus1 The Cure britpop?? 😂😂😂👎👎👎Post Punk me ole son. First release 1978 Killing An Arab May well have been around in the 90,s but britpop?? Nope 🤣
WOW! Had the chance to see these rockstars, when they opened touring for Foo Fighters, we were late, missed their entire show, and as a bonus, they broke up after that tour. This is the first I've seen them back together since 2007.
@@jairocaceres1815 : ¡ No !
Lost some weight, purchased some beard dye, unsure what is going on underneath the hat but yes he looks well. Playing and singing wonderfully most importantly.
I remembered this band for the first time back in 90s era when I read my sister magazine it's called majalah Kawanku, teenage girl Indonesian magazine which great taste of music. When I see their photo my first thought was he is Bjork's younger brother
