not gonna lie, i was ready to throw this show out when they revealed a black lex. But it was still pretty interesting. Then he was revealed to be my boi John Henry Irons and I got hype since I genuinely did not expect that twist. Now we gonna get the Eradicator?!?! I like this.

Well the base plot is always the same and its clear the show has inspired a lot of it from Man Of Steel while following a more " Rebirth " environment. Difference is both Edge and Zod had different experiences to push their motives. Edge feels he needs Krypton because humans are hostile while Zod wants to save Krypton because the council failed it. Both different aspects for a motive , one is a survivor while other is a patriot.

@@mrHunleashesHELL while the director admitted to having taken inspiration from mos I think he mostly took inspiration from its visual style and nothing else because I'm having a hard time finding any other similarities in style

@@cecilgoodman2343 Well , Clark loosing another parent , Superman working with military , him dealing with making an important decision of his life. All these ideas originally was explored in Man Of Steel , only difference is both characters are in different point in time. Snyder Superman is fresh off the scale and is still on an exploration stage while this is slowly past his prime and is moving on the next point in life I.e having a family.

Well it’s made by HBO so there’s your answer. If these cw shows followed then they too would all be great. Not that I don’t enjoy some of them already but yeah there’s room for improvement. What I’m not gonna do is complain 24/7 about the bad writing or what not. If u don’t like it then don’t watch it, but don’t ruin it for others.

Acting isn't all special in this scene. In the previous episodes it was much better.

Not only that, but the director for this show, Lee Toland, was brought onto HBO Max’s Green Lantern show coming in the near future so we can really see what he can do with a bigger budget.

Yes, it's great. And it absolutely has Smallville season 9 vibes. The Kandorian clones being created as a way to preserve the Kryptonian race and working all season to gain the powers. Really neat how they are taking similar elements from Smallville. These are the best Superman related shows we have ever had.

This has a mix of Smallville Season 9 and Man of Steel in one series.

I just don't know how to feel about this twist. This is obviously something new the show is trying for this adaptation of Superman, but to have Morgan Edge be a sibling to Clark is just so odd because both of those characters are literally not related to each other at all in the comics

Well the exception is Edge wasn't punished in Krypton like Zod did. The thing that derives both of them is Edge thinks more analytically while Zod was a tactical patriot of Krypton.

Season 2 of Arrow was arguably the highlight of the show, though I personally still prefer season 1 because the Hood was badass. Season 2 of Flash was fine but I don't remember season 2 of Supergirl.

This probably makes sense why the superman on john henry irons earth went evil, he eventually probably found superman as a child and they waited till there was enough of them to take the earth, had him keeping up the look of a hero until it was time. but since it never happened to this superman that he grew up to be the good one that wont join, cause he wasnt influenced by him. its just a guess until more is shown about John henry irons earth.

Jor-El confirmed that Edge/Tal-Ro was telling the truth when Clark payed the Fortress a visit later in the episode. hell, he even explained that the reason why a sunstone with Lara's avatar wasn't sent with Kal was because Zeta-Ro had stolen it out of spite

Jor El spoke to the council but Lara is a scientist here who discovered it.

They know about their ability to absorb radiation from the sun. The powers just manifest themselves whenever they get stressed like what's happening to Jordan. Like in Man of Steel Zod didn't know he could fly or have heat vision or any of that until he saw Superman do it.

We'll find out if the Jor-El AI of the Fortress Of Solitude will come clean with this revelation, or maybe Morgan Edge has already somehow corrupted its databanks to serve his insidious agenda.

Jor-El didn't mention anything about Kara to Clark when the Fortress was created in basically any medium. So there's precedence in the AI failing to note any other family of Clark's generation.

remember, Crisis change the entire timeline of Earth-One/Earth Prime, for all we know, Clark never had a half-Brother before Crisis. Even if he ask Kara, even if she told him that's false, that's only true for Before Crisis, like many she Doesnt know of all the changes cause by the aftermath of Crisis (and unlike Clark, being a Paragon, she does remember Crisis, hence why you never saw Clark and Lois react to the fact that they now have twin teenagers when before Crisis they only had a single baby, since neither of them were Paragons, they keep no memories of it, unless Jonn unlock their memories)

Agreed. Daxamites were the 'land and cause trouble' kind of invaders. Not like this reinterpretation of H'El which grew up on Earth. Also how sad would it be to have a villian die from lead poisoning, rather than kicking him into the Phantom Zone

If he was a Daxamite he would be dead due Lead being released into earth's atmosphere back in season 2 of supergirl if Earth Prime went by the Timeline of Earth 38
