Superman & Lois 1x14 "The Eradicator" Season 1 Episode 14 Sneak Peek - THE HEART OF SMALLVILLE - Lois (Elizabeth Tulloch) is worried about Jordan (Alex Garfin) as he and Sarah (Inde Navarrette) continue to grow closer. Writing, writing, writing. It's all about the writing. The conversations in this show flow naturally and they never go the typical CW route with forced arguments and miscommunications. I love it.

@Sifilore - I actually appreciate the fact that they made Sam Lane a morally grey character in this show, instead of the full villain he is in the comics (or in the Flash TV show).

@@gabrielp9646 Alot of writers since the Byrne era tried to turn Sam Lane, who was once a professor/inventor (he once created a gravity belt that Lana used to mimic many of Superboy's powers), into a virtual clone of "Thunderbolt" Ross, complete with him jock-bullying Clark, steering Lois towards a military marriage (with Jon Corben/Metallo), and him trying to kill Superman for national security reasons.

@@WannabeWRX Sam Lane, Ross and J. Jonah Jameson. They all remind me of each other, in the fact you can tell they're good people deep down, but their personal feelings toward their respective heroes all lead them to do bad things.

@@gtaylor1229 Jordans powers didn't manifest until he was in distress, and it took time for him to control his powers whilst Johnathan doesn't have anxiety like his brother so his emotions don't go haywire as often as Jordans.

It's interesting to see Clark a little torn with how he should handle Edge as he is his enemy and at the same time his brother. I myself would like to see Clark be able get through to his brother.

More like a mini Iron Man. I love that he's learning from John Henry... it's like Clark only has attention for Jordan, so Jon's going to become superpowered with another mentor. I hope they don't give Jon powers, tbh, three Supermen wouldn't be as interesting.

Ok so by this and the promo Eradicator is only taking Jordan and maybe Sara imo. About Jon not getting powers yeah he’s half Kryptonian but I think the show has set it up that he may never get powers. Perhaps in him his human side is stronger. Who knows if he does get abilities it won’t be for awhile we’ll see. Glad it’s back I’ve missed it so much. EDIT: JorEl made a point of saying that Jordan would never be like his father. But from what we’ve seen of his powers he’s the same as Clark in that area. He’s not as strong YET because he’s untrained and young. And yeah his human side limits him a bit I think. But, what if JorEl really meant Jon? Maybe he does have some abilities but they’re really weak which is why they haven’t manifested yet, if they do that is. I think he won’t be as strong as Clark or Jordan.

But what if Jon is more like Clark, even though he doesn't have his powers yet? Jon has his personality similar to both Lois & Clark, he does have a knack for getting into trouble like his mom, i.e. why she lashed out at him when she said he was reckless, which Lois is at times. Also like Clark, he had to give up a couple of things, friends and playing football in Metropolis. I think it'll take a serious situation for Jon's powers to activate. Also, I don't think Jor-El meant Jon, even though his powers didn't activate yet, chances are he might be the powerful one of the twins.

Usually there's a bio-electric aura that protects the suit from most forms of harm along with debris and such. However in high stakes battles, it can be broken through where he typically either does have to do so by hand or has to take it to the Fortress.

I’m seeing a lot of comments about how Jon may never get powers but in truth the we have already seen him use some sort of power when stopping Jordan’s punch I think the reason he hasn’t gotten his abilities yet is because he hasn’t gotten the stimulation needed like Jordan for instance he used some kind of super speed when he felt the need to stop Jordan

I wish everyone would just stop saying that Jonathan is never going to get powers and you don't have any idea what's going to happen anything could take place and I think it would be pretty good if John got powers because Superman is like always busy saving the world and everything and what if his brother is in trouble and needs help then Jordan will be there if it's brother gets kidnapped or hurt or worse he definitely deserves powers and when that day come over here screaming like a fangirl

Love this family and this show. The previews don't really give much away. Also a small shout out to Smallville "Teague Family Hardware" the Jason Teague character played by Jensen Ackles? Can't wait for this episode and to see what happens. Not even going to try and guess.

Was a pretty good episode, but I saw the ending coming a mile away. Slight issue with superhero shows in general, the family of the superhero ALWAYS becomes a liability in one way or another.

This is Earth-Prime. (I mean Diggle was there lol), but the reason their teenagers is simple. Crisis, Earth-38 Lois and Clark got Married and had Jonathan in 2019 but when the Paragons and Spectre rebirthed the New Multiverse, on Earth-Prime they got Married and had Jonathan, and Jordan sooner in 2006/2007 ish.

@@mecdsj626 I still don't see why you think it's another earth lol, I mean at the end of Crisis part 5, on Earth-Prime Lois said "The boys" and the show has stated a few times that Lois and Clark got married and had Jordan and Jonathan in the early to mid 2000's. Yes the multiverse is back, but it's definitely not another earth, I mean they finally have Supergirl on the same earth as them, it would seem redundant to place Superman and Lois in another universe lol.

Lois and Cark are talking to their kids like how parents are supposed to these days. Its reality and life teenagers that are in love make mistakes and kid building weapons have crazy ideas. I understand what they are saying to their Kids.
