The first season was made by HBO, sadly from now on its all going to be made by the CW so don't expect much past this.

@@Cfuson001 Uh, even the first season is by CW only... WB has just given the show more budget because it is their flagship product for the channel, alongside Stargirl. There is no HBO involvement, it will just be going to HBO Max after release is complete and yep, that is a good enough reason to increase the budget.

While it is not part of a universe in the movies ... it is part of the Arrowverse (or officially the CWverse) as John Diggle from Arrow appears in the series as the character and they reference the Crisis crossover a told and there was supposed to be a Batwoman crossover as well.

Due to Crisis all live action DC products are part of the same multiverse, Michael Keatons Batman, the Chris Reeves/Brandon Routh shared Superman is part of the multiverse, Grants Barry met Ezras Barry (who as I mentioned is working with Michael Keatons AND Ben Afflecks batmen ) which cemented the continuity for a multiversal cinematic universe

Better tan all the others, wether show or movie, period. It is spot on and relatable. Even just today my wife asked my to stop by hardware store for bulbs, same as in the show and the visual effect's is just flawless. The actor playing the character of Supe nails it.

We saw a couple episodes that Jonathan can't handle the lies anymore and since it's sarah that's why he'll probably tell her. It's just my theory with this show everything we think might happen always ends up being the opposite.

Jon is the real MVP. His Grandpa is down, his brother and his friend are hurt/confused and he's calm enough to grab the pistol, take a shot and then calm Sarah. Jon you are the heart and soul of this show.

I do think that Jon is both like Lois & Clark, he has a knack for getting into trouble just like his mom, and like you said being a hero like his dad. But also the sacrificial traits, such as giving up his life in Metropolis and also being somewhat of an outcast.

I haven't read the comics but from what ppl are saying superman never had twins only one kid (Jonathan) and he had powers. So now that there's twins maybe the possibility of him getting powers will happen. However CW shows tend to not follow what fans want. We shall see.

Technically speaking, it's an HBO Max show. At least that's the plan by HBO and the Warners, who are part-producing/financing it with the idea that it will eventually end up at HBO Max (as soon as next season even). They're only showing this season on the CW because this Superman was introduced in the CW-verse/Arrow-verse's Crisis event, and CW got a deal that allowed them to show Season 1 on CW even while they know they will be losing its fans and viewers to HBO Max down the road. That's why it looks movie-quality - because HBO are sparing no expenses and by the time it gets to their streaming platform, it has to be streaming movie/series quality.

As every arrowverse season does season 1 of Superman & Lois as well must end. Don't boo. The cast members filmed from October 2020 to July 2021. And this season aired from February to August 2021. Give them and give the show a break. But in all seriousness the show turned out to be a damn good show. Superman & Lois will return for season 2 early 2022

It's shown that Sarah is still with Jonathan... When in the previous episode he had asked her to run home when Morgan edge showed up... She might have been looking from the bushes and might have seen Jon calling Superman dad.

In the episode when Lana is preparing to allow Lara Lor-Van to manifest in her, and Superman goes to speak with her, there is a quick moment… nothing in the dialogue to suggest it, but the actress actually plays a quick look of recognition on her face. Take a view of that scene and see what you think - I think Lana figured it out immediately on meeting the S.
