I've been wondering why they don't take Jon to the fortress since the first season. If Jon is more human and Kryptonian, maybe Clark doesn't take him because he wouldn't survive the cold. There's no excuse for not taking him to Tal-Rho's fortress, but he might freeze to death at Clark's.

@@thescream18 but still Lois has ever been to the fortress..and she's more human so with a fur jacket I'm sure Jonathan would survive

Unfortunately, it didn't make any sense for Jordan to miss it. In the first episode of the series, Jordan wants to send Sarah a Vulcan salute. If he's geeky enough to not realize that the salute is not commonly recognized, he's probably watching Star Wars. ( Most of the Star Trek versus Star Wars rivalry seems to exist exclusively among the members of The Boomer era and generation x .) In fact, it would make more sense for him to know what the Kessel Run then it does for Clark to know. After all, Clark arrived as an infant in 1977. That's the year Star Wars came out. And A New Hope was the only one of the original trilogy where they Run was mentioned . When Return of the Jedi came out in '83, he would only have been 6 years old. Within 2 years of that, the Star Wars toys were off the shelf. The comic book lasted a couple of more years but was gone by 1986. So well before Clark was 10, Star Wars was dead. It didn't come back until 1992, I think, when the novel Heir to the Empire came out. We wouldn't have any movies until the prequels came out in the very late '90s. The Arctic generally lacks megaplex theaters . So it's really doubtful that Clark caught them when they came out . Besides , I don't mention the Run . However, the Han Solo movie came out a handful of years ago, when Jordan would have been just the right age to want to see it ( and been too young to notice its flaws). The Kessel Run is a big part of that film. So it would be logical for Jordan to know it, and Clark not to know it. But I think all of the writers are 12. So they have no idea what a member of Generation x would or would not have known. I'm actually impressed that they realized Lana would know who Alanis Morrisette is. However, One of the biggest Broadway musicals and the last several years is the one based on Alanis Morisette's music. You would think, If Sarah wanted to write breakup songs, she would have stumbled across that. If she doesn't know Jolene, I'm screaming foul.

@@micheledeetlefs6041 Clark watched them because he likes Star Wars (And he doesn't have to watch them when they came out, you can watch movies outside of theatres). Jordan likes Star Trek and didn't watch Star Wars. It's really that simple.

The level of spoiling and immaturity from lucy, a grown adult made me hate her. And as he said about the truth barrier, even seeing it from her perspective she's still very selfish, narcisistic and spoiled immature. I mean, do you really have to ostracise your whole family in order to support one random person you met because your family happens to not trust her, even to the point of drugging your own father for this person? And the actress did a phenomenal job wich even her facial expressions and looks looked snarky and narcisistic with an "i'm always right, how dare you doubt me?" face. And i wished lois had told her in the end that superman was clark, like "Because of you i might lose my husband! Because you literally chose to hate your family for ally". Just to make her know how worse she's supposed to feel. In Lois' position i would just cut ties with her letting her know that. I feel NO SYMPATHY for this child in a grown body (i've seen kids more mature than that BTW)

@@Omn1Media I get where you're coming from, that should've been their first idea and the scene could've been handled better, like have steel fly him up but then notice the sun's not working on him because of how jacked up his cells are at the moment then take him to the DOD, according to the way it played out though it looked like they somehow knew the sun wasn't an option right away, which wouldn't make sense.

Sure in real life, but we've seen time and time again in the show and most superman media that when he needs more sun quick, he will fly above the clouds at least or leave the ozone. I would have been fine if they at least had a throw away line showing they considered it. It should have been their first attempt at helping him at least lol. Working off the show and DCs logic. As for Lucy, in my review I do mention that I'm only being hard on Lucy because I'm frustrated as a viewer. I know and understand where she's coming from but it's still beyond frustrating to watch. Really confused on how Ally was able to rewrite his cells by siphoning his lifeforce. Not sure how that changed his DNA but maybe they will explain that in the next few episodes and I'm glad that Lucy's finally had her wake up call because I really want her and Lois to be able to fix their relationship.
