He is actually pretty young in this. I think he is only 50 or something years old. This is young considering superman can actually live forever if he continuously absorbs the sun
@@cloudtheavegner1000 Oh, I like that interpretation as well. And as for the other commenter about how he's only 50 or something years old and can live forever... that's not what feeling old is about. It's the things you thought were cool, etc. no longer being cared about, known about, or just outright mocked by the young'uns WHO I SWEAR BETTER GIT THE HELL OF MAH LAWN!
Clark just turned into a big dorky dad at the end and I loves it! And then his face fell when his son asked what the Kessel Run is. Kinda reminded me of when Kara realized they never showed Brainy Star Wars.
@@Avelinovolei explain how Jon was going to handle the environmental hazards that come with being in the Arctic, even Jordan was worried about the cold until Clark told him not to worry (using his powers would warm him up) Jon is powerless he can't handle prolonged exposure to the hazards, even real life scientists have to prepare before they set foot on the environment and scientists know what to expect!
@@Bustuhh Yeah you said right, but it wasn't the problem! For one second I thought about it too, but If you think that Jon was waiting for both of them and clark said it was going to be a familiar thing... This is unfair because He was waiting for both of them. Clark made a list of things to do with both of them in the farm so WHY would he go to the artic play or teach something to his son just in this moment? I mean he could do it another time. I see like this, So you promise to someone to do something and for some reason go to do another thing with other person. You are letting someone behind.
I liked how Clark didn't say he was going to catch Jordan even though in the end he still did. Clark just knows that if he says it out loud then Jordan would constantly hesitate because he knows if he fails then Clark would just save him. Jordan had to learn to take a leap of faith and have the confidence in himself to fly on his own without Clark's help because 1 day Clark won't be there to save Jordan and Clark knows that as a parent that he needs to teach Jordan how to handle things by himself. Like a parent lying to their children about riding and balancing on a bike saying that they won't let go, before the child looks back and realizes that they're riding on their own after their parents let go a long time ago.
@@JustAStronzoOnYT and my example perfectly illustrates this scene all the more. A child can only pedal so fast while a parent keeps their hand on the bike, but it's when they finally let go that a child can truly ride freely with faster speeds. If Clark had said out loud that he would've caught Jordan, it would've made him more cautious and not fly as fast or as high let alone trust himself enough to fully fly on his own because he would've had to stay close to Clark if he didn't want to fall.
He already has a costume, he's training his jordan, when he's in full control Clark will give a costume Jordan can't control it, he doesn't give his strength for him, he says it's early Clark
I actually wouldn’t mind the red and black Tron suit from the comics. However, with the Superman family usually not wearing masks, I just wonder what disguise Jonathan and Jordan can even use? I mean, it’s not like either boy is making it a point to be unrecognizable.
Is no one going to even mention the Star Wars Reference and the disappointment on Clark's Face when Jordan asked "What's that?" Really? No one...??? *makes a Clark Face*
I was just about to say something about that too, oh the look on Clark's face when he asks what is that you could just tell he was saying to himself: we need to get you updated on Star Wars kid i swear!!! Freaking priceless. Lmao 💯😁😂😂😂😂👍
Wow! This show's awesome -- love to see Jordan's flight scenes! He's really starting to get the hang of it, but still has a lot to learn. Glad Clark's there to guide him along. 😊
Clark: Don’t tell Sarah. Lois: Don’t tell Sarah. Sarah: I don’t even wanna know. My mom is missing and you’re trying to give me a letter?? Lana: Don’t tell Sarah. Jordan: BUT I HAVE TO TELL HER!!!!!!
True but he knows now that he shouldn’t ever tell Sarah until she is ready for the risks and the toll it takes on her and the others around her…like Lois. Lois has plenty of experience and a pro at knowing and protecting Clark’s secret but Sarah? She’s not ready…yet.
Fatcs i hate him for being so fool bruh do you even know sarah love you? this is jorda in his mind "im gonna say this plz dont leave me im superboy" LO
@@blacky8987 Jordan has medical issues that explains why he acts the way he does He has social anxiety (the show even started with that explanation), and he can't control his emotions, so when he feels he needs to say something it's not out of selfishness, it's just that he doesn't know how to handle a situation, and the more stress he puts on himself the worse his emotions get
I think the reason why he got control of his powers bc Zeta-Rho was in his body and probably triggered all of the abilities that was in Jordan’s body bc Zeta even said he has untapped power of a kryptonian but a manipulated mind of a human
@@charlenewalker126 agree. Not to mention cheating is cheating, and Sarah pretty much broke their trust. I wouldn’t forgive someone that quickly. Kinda wish they hadn’t pushed this Jordan and Sarah thing, I want to see more family dynamics eg Jordan and John/ powers vs no powers Etc
Oh the look on Clark's face when he asks what is that? you could just tell he was saying to himself: we need to get you updated on Star Wars kid i swear!!! Freaking priceless. Lmao 💯😁😂😂😂😂👍
I felt sorry for Jonathan when they got back and he got all the chores done. The normal son that didn’t get to be apart of the Kryptonian bonding moment.
I don’t understand why people always say that someone knowing will put them in danger. You would think that not knowing would be more problematic in these types of situations
You have sensitive secrets, and you have dangerous enemies who want to know those secrets. You not being a mere mortal, your enemies can't make you talk. But if other people know those secrets, that makes them targets.
It’s not a hard concept to get really. Obviously you want them to know but it really can put them in danger depending on who you’re dealing with. Like Spider-Man not telling anyone his identity because his villains are literal psychos who will murder his aunt to get to him
kid. that is why lois is always in danger if she know clark is fighting with a big ass enemy and that enemy is killing she would put her life indanger to save his man or sons thast it.
The issue with Superman is the world knows he's invincible, but if enemies knew who Superman cared about, they would put them in danger BvS proved that point when Lex manipulated Superman into a fight with Batman
The problem doesn’t lie in knowing a superhero’s secret identity, the problem lies in being associated with a superhero at all. If anything, knowing the truth makes someone better able to protect themselves.
I thought Clark could have said more, yes Jordan flew successfully but saying ‘let go of your fear’ then ‘come on Jordan’ 3 times is hardly enough information to learn to fly, 😆
I’m so frustrated that the Fortress Of Solitude is destroyed. I would have loved for Jordan to visit “grandpa” Jor-El’s hologram and drop a “How d’ya like me now!?!”
new Jor-El: What is HE doing here, my son? He will never have powers. Jorden: Yeah? scan me old man, see what I am. new Jor-El: Error 404, this hologram has encountered a fatal error. Would you like to send an error report?
I get that Lana is mad at Clark and Lois but she shouldn't have treated Jordan like that he didn't do nun wrong but loved Sarah and he wants to be there for her too
This is a great series. Its great there is finally a Superman series that deals with family. We really need more stories about families and how families can solve problems. This is more than just a family like Superman and Lois but all families. The most important foundation in this country is families and true core of families is our faith in God. I do hope this show goes on and has many seasons. I also hope that there are more shows that truly help us and give a good example in how we deal with our problems and solve them.
ok but lana really pisses me of, does sHe NOT think that clarks kids could be in danger and she's just mad because: 1. clark didnt choose her 2. he HAD TO TELL HER but he didnt 3. even though in the other storylines he is with lana, he is with lois on this one, anyway just my nobel opinion
i dont really understan this stuff about telling the secret put people on danger, sinceraly, it most dangerous dont tell they if they around the superhero.
@@SuperLoquendomexico I haven't watched the show just this video but even I could tell she doesn't want Sarah anywhere near Jordan. If Sarah isn't near him she'll be fine. If he tells Sarah maybe she'll like him again and they'll get back together.
Yea wish I could fly and be a Kryptonian it would be so damn cool then I wouldn't have to worry about learning how to drive and getting my permit and my license to drive.
That disappointed nerd sigh when Jordan asked what a Kessel Run is had me snort-laughing, lol. But even I had to ask a friend what that was bc I've never seen Star Wars either.
The Kesel run may be a Star Wars reference, but given it's a Superman show, it's highly likely also a reference to Karl Kesel. He's a legendary inker at DC comics and co-created Kon-El Superboy from Reign of the Supermen. My disdain at you all who didn't think about this matches Clark's to Jordan.
... I certainly know who Karl Kesel is (having bought most of his stuff when it originally ran), but my disdain to you, Comic Book Guy, who think there are "legendary inkers" and that Kesel--although a fine artist--is one of them.
In this I sometimes liked Lana, but in this particular episode I couldn't stand her. She should be ashamed for the way she treated Lois, Jonathan, and Jordan. Blaming them for Clark being who he is and Jordan for being Superman's son? It's not the boys fault that their father is Superman. She had no right to bite of Jordan's head.
"I used to call it a Kessel Run." "What's that?" Here's the time to step up as a proper geek dad and introduce both your sons to the majesty that is proper Star Wars canon.
I would've thought a better way to teach him how to fly instead of jumping right into a cliff would have been to see how far he could jump, with every leap attempting to reach for the sky. Didn't Clark do that in the season 1 origin/flashback episode, similar to Man of Steel-Clark who did the same thing?
I'm glad to see Clark spend some time with the boys, but I wish his attitude with Jonathan hadn't come across faintly as "ok, I've ticked you off my list with that five minutes, now on to super time with your more interesting brother."
@@rlopez8630 Possibly yes. I did wonder if Jonathan might gamble on willingly merging with his "evil twin" but as far as I've seen from the clips so far it hasn't gone that way.
Yeah. His character will start getting to the point where he might not even have a point on the show anymore. And Jonathan actually exists in the comics. Something the writers would know, if they bothered to pick up a Superman comic. I just hope that Jonathan doesn’t get to the point where he becomes like James Olsen in Supergirl or Laurel Lance on Arrow, where both characters just had no point on the show anymore. Plus, should the writers give Jonathan powers, I’m not sure if I can see the writers giving Clark and Jonathan the same story again, of Superman training another Superboy.
@@psyke_out would be cool, but also kinda pointless. If Jonathan gets Jon-El's powers than he would still be powerless for the most part since Bizzaro world kryptonians only gain their powers under a red sun instead of a yellow one. Jonathan would need a red sun to use his powers and would always be at risk since our sun is a natural yellow one and he would constantly be weakened and using up his powers without a way to naturally recharge them.
lmfao whoever is writing for superman and lois is genius lol. the end when he says about the kessel run and jordan is like whats that it like that is true father and son moment like he is still a kid learning to fly but still has to keep his ass in school and read about stuff lol..
There's an old saying: "Please.. don't try this at home" , man imagine one day being able to discover you can fly under your own volition. No fancy jet packs, no, skydiving, or bungee jumping, just taking off into the skies at great speeds. 😢 damn.
It reminds me of Neo's first leap of faith. Except Neo Went in believing and... failed. Hey it also reminds me of Spiderman's first leap of faith when he stood at the edge of a building with web line in his hand, jumping to swing and... hit a wall. Wait wait wait, similar scene was in Spiderverse where Miles stands on an edge of a building and... no, he was to scared. So he went to a much smaller building, ran towards its edge and... he tripped on his shoelaces. Or when Luke in Star Wars looked at his drowning ship... Okay, there are countless of examples where character needs to believe in themselves and fails. This one "subverts expectations" and does it differently. Is it bad that it wants to be different? No. I'm glad I can now see why the trope of failing is so much more exciting to watch even if we see it so many times. The character build up the fear. They're not born to do this stuff. They break through their own fears and overcome the challenge. And their ability to do it doesn't come from any pep talk, Superman standing behind them and repeating they can do it. It's because they weren't ready, they still might not be ready, but they push themselves to do it anyway. And god damnit, the CGI here is so bad.
what would happen if she know the secret? she gonna help? nopp superman had like 23 super evil mfs Who wanna kill him if they know that someone know that kal el had a family is over for them
