Well, i would argue that they didn't connect his episodes with the earthquake is cuz, we - as audience - see both happening at ones. But there, most of the times he is experiencing the episodes, he is no where near Lois or John. He was in Korea, the Airport with XK junkie, and in the morning episode, there was no 'visible' quake at all.

Can't wait for y'all to watch Episode 3. Y'all are not ready for it. I meant to comment this regarding Episode 1, but I wanna bring it up here: The whole Sargent Anderson "America needs to come first" subplot reminds me of the "controversy" around DC Comics announcing the new Superman mantra of "Truth, Justice and a Better Tomorrow" instead of the original mantra of "Truth, Justice and the American Way" back at DC Fandome last year. I might be reaching here, but I think that subplot is a sort-of reference to that. I could be wrong.

It's a story that Superman comics have told several times (indeed, his original tagline was just "Truth and Justice"), but yeah it feels intentional for the show to revisit now

The buildup to Doomsday is happening so well. That whole scene with Tal-Rho and Kal-El reminded me of Thor-Loki and Clarice-Hannibal from The Dark World and Silence of the Lambs.
