THIS is how you should do side-characters!! Like Kyle and Chrissy... they have their own separate story arcs, but don't interfere with the main plot, and even if someone doesn't like it... it isn't that much bothering or irritating!! Not like Cecile and Allegra bruh

common misconception, the supporting cast (Lana, John Henry, Nat, general Lane, etc) were not removed from the show, they are just no longer regulars. they will still appear in season 4 just less per episode then they did previously in order to keep the budget manageable.

CGI of this ep is better than The Flash

There's more A-List Superman villains in this episode than all of the Reeves movies combined. Mad Respect

This is the best Superman THING I've ever watched!!! People saying they hope the new actor live up to Cavill, but man, surpass Cavill is easy, good looking trying to surpass Tyler, best balance between Clark and Superman ever put in to film, the only competition here is Reeves, but I still would give it to Tyler because the writing for him is so much better.

It would be great if Doomsday turned against his creator like in the comics. In this case, turning against Luthor would be perfect. Because Superman would likely save him and that would make Luthor feel real awkward. And I loved that Superman ended up on the moon. Seeing him fight off world really makes him feel like comic book Superman who isn’t earthbound

I think what also sells the S&L Doomsday than the DCEU version (well the fake version if you account Snyder's claim) is that his arrival feels earned. While I personally have nothing against the design or even him being the final threat in BVS, I've always felt that it was too early for Doomsday to face off against a Superman that's not all that experienced. It takes away the essence & sincerity of Superman's "death" because the people in-universe along with us readers grew to love the character. And granted we've had Tyler as Superman for three seasons however it still stays true to what the overall Death of Superman story represents: this Superman has been active for years so people love the hero but we've also come to love the actor behind the suit to the point where *IF* they do have him perish at the end it does feel earned. Even if they don't go through with TDOS story or change it up slightly, I still think the way they went about tackling Doomsday is a great handling in a tv format.

I like how the whole fight superman was tryna minimize the damage to the city, till eventually taking it to the moon. Hopefully we get to see Clark let loose.

throughout the season, while the plot did keep us all engaging, there was a lack of action and i kept thinking that they were saving it all up for the finale with something big, both in terms of story and budget. And then BAM, doomsday comes in.

I think, this take on Doomsday is really interesting. They still made him Kryptonian. I'm glad, they didn't change that. But I'm sad about Bizarro. I liked him. But now he's just a monster filled with rage. Only because Mannheim brought him back from the dead

4 Seasons deep and this show has still not missed! Hard to believe its a CW Show at times with this much consistency 😅

Why do people keep sleeping on Smallville? So quick to put the new hotness on top. While it definitely doesn't have the same spectacle since it's from the 2000s, Smallville balanced the drama, comedy, and action of the Superman comics pretty well.

Kind of worried for season 4. I don’t want them to kill a character who has been around since the pilot off screen. And I don’t want it to be like the season 2 premiere of flash where they just do something stupid they didn’t hint at.

Season 3 is a Good Season,I Love the Cancer Subplot,Bruno Mannheim is a Solid Antagonist,the Side Characters are Good,I’m mixed on what Jordan did,and I Love this Dark portrayal of Lex Luthor and Bizarro being Doomsday is Pure Genius as ever the Kryptonite Spikes has this Vibe from Kancer and is Way Better than the BVS Version,10 out of 10.

Now at the end we’re they fighting on the moon or on earth like attic? This show is insane . The flash should be embarrassed of how they ended

Supes and Lois season 3 is phenomenal! Using Cancer as a villain in the show was a stroke of genius! What else could Supes fight and not win, where Lois can? Also, This version of Lex is the first truly intimidating Lex. Well done with the casting! BTW, you forgot Gene Hackman’s version of Lex. Still, this IS the best version.

bro my jaw drop when superman send his ass to the moon and all those theory was truth about we was going Doomsday this season that people was even said Doomsday was in the suit in suit back in season 2 but it was bizarro and bizarro turn into Doomsday I didn't expect that and I have no doubt about it that if HBO max wasn't part of the budge making this show, that CW would have fuck this up and next season going be good and my theory that Superman either going be lost or dead and Jordan literally going have to step up and I love how Clark stop Jordan and Iron from help him cause he knew they would get killed easily

I couldn't help but feel bad for Bizzaro Superman. He was experimented on by Manheim and turned into a feral killing machine by Lex

This is the best finale any lf the cw superhero shows has aired. The doomsday fight was great. I like how this season is paced with majority of it dealing with cancer and the last two setting up season four dealing with luthor. You really understand why jon cryer wasn't cast as lex cause those scenes wouldn't work as well. You know what helps they knew how to film the cgi scenes it in a way where you don't notice the budget.

I’m torn on CW’s version. It looks better than the DCEU version, at least design-wise, slightly. The story or setup was also slightly better. I think the movies did a better job at portraying how destructive a Doomsday v. Superman fight would be though. Neither knocked it out of the park for me.

Agree that this exceeds the BvS Doomsday fight if only because Superman & Lois established more emotional stakes in the characters for me, than ANYTHING in the past decade on screen from DC with the exception of the Joker movie.

10:32 Jordan was my protégé in the first 2 seasons even with all the people saying he was annoying i could definitely see his struggles. But in this season... he's so full of himself, mean to everyone that cares about him, i just can't help but roll my eyes whenever he's on screen.

Luthor is smart, he picked up pretty quickly that Bizarro was coming back to life every time after being killed. I assume he noticed that it had less effect with the same method and test other methods, deducing that he gains resistance to different ways of dying each time, so he killed his in as many ways he could think of. As for Mannheim’s doctor working for Lex, he was literally killed in Lex’s first episode to find out where the lab was. Otis hands Lex his bloody glasses, so I doubt he was working for him.

I must express my profound frustration with the way this series portrays its storyline. The manner in which they attempt to capture Superman is utterly exasperating. The notion of restraining Superman with a mere chain while Lex Luthor stands in front of him as if he lacks his formidable laser eyes is simply ludicrous. Surely, it shouldn't be so challenging to devise a more plausible and realistic method of capturing him rather than resorting to the absurdity of undermining his powers.

Is it true the other characters won’t be in the show next season or just in reduced roles? I just assumed they’d be in recurring or guest starring roles since the network doesn’t want to pay them as series regulars.

I think everybody's happy Sarah it's not coming back for season 4 because let's be honest she's a terrible character any horrible person to everybody I'm glad Lana slapped her but I'm sad that John Harry Irons it's not coming back

cutting a lot of the side charcters might make for a better season. Lord knows Flash should have cut some as the series went on.

This season was so emotional and had barely any action it was pretty upsetting but this ending sure was great, hopefully next season will be better

If they did cut down on action throughout the season to save up for a bigger battle then i dont mind at all, I'd perfer that over more fights but smaller ones, and this season had two other fights so its not like it was only this one

The biggest problems I had with the finale stem from the big shift from this season's plot to setting up next season's, particularly doing so in the final 2 episodes (nevermind that the CW had been promoting this season as "the one where Lex Luthor arrives" since before it started airing, so I was a little sour that they kept dangling that for months). It also feels way too much like an episode to get us to a new status quo rather than a decent episode on its own merits...until we hit the backstory on Bizarro becoming Doomsday, then the Doomsday vs. Supes fight, that was good quality (the use of "Blow Up The Outside World"? Perfection). I think it might've worked better ending on Doomsday carrying Supes into space before Supes wakes up, using the reversal & Moon as the pre-title sequence for the season premiere, but that's just me. Talking broader on the season, though, I can't say I agree on which characters were most annoying: far and away this season, the worst was Jordan. Nearly every moment when Jordan was speaking or doing anything was excruciating to watch, particularly because he's the idiot kid who's full of himself and believes he's owed things by other people (like girls he likes). This season really turned up the CW-style drama on that front, so I'll concede Sarah was worse this season than in the past, but she at least had various moments where she was trying to help people/be nice (or learned to get along with someone) whereas Jordan just...got angry at people and then sulked, repeating similar beats all season. New Jonathan was fine, but an adjustment from the previous version (don't know if it was the writing, directing, acting, or a combination thereof, but he certainly felt like a different character with the way he came off/acted over the season) while Nat remains an underutilized character (it feels like they had an interesting idea for her at the end of S1, then...scrapped it and couldn't figure out what to do - I wish they'd played a bit more with the idea of her feeling like a sister to the twins). John Henry suffers from Worf syndrome a bit, but he got some decent meat to chew as he butted heads with Bruno Mannheim (who ended up being an excellent villain for the season, far better than S2's), Sam is...there (of all the characters on the show, he feels like one who might actually benefit from a reduced episode count, just make it count when he shows up), Chrissy & Kyle was fine enough but I wasn't particularly interested, Lana's fine but I wish she'd had more of a role doing stuff (maybe being mayor, tackling actual issues, etc.) than awkwardly not dating John and awkwardly seeing Kyle and awkwardly mothering her important daughter (the one who doesn't just randomly show up in episodes). Lois & Supes were best part of this season, a strong plotline and great acting from them, which unfortunately was marred by the need to spend so much time on the other characters (again, Sam especially could be used more sparingly, though putting the Langs/Chrissy/John Henry on the backburner for an episode or two more could've worked) - that does suggest that knocking everyone but the Kent family down from series regular could work out, even if it sounds like a budgetary bloodbath that portends problems (then again, The Flash & Arrow could've benefitted from similar moves, given how bloated their casts got). Oh, and that Lex Luthor is a drastic divergence from what I'm used to (the Clancy Brown-voiced version from the DCAU remains my favourite, with Titus Welliver's live action version on Titans showing a glimmer of that) but I really like this version - incredibly intimidating, dangerous, and almost understated intellect.

I noticed how the “season renewed” doesn’t say final season. Regardless of the budget cut, I believe it will be good for the show. I don’t like a lot of the cast getting their appearance dropped anyway so it works out. This season 4 will be the BEST yet and I guarantee with Lex as Cudlitz it will get renewed again for a 5th season. This show is awesome!! 💪🏽 Recommend for anyone wanting a good Superman show. If you don’t want to binge all the shows because there is 3 seasons, I’d skip season 2 personally but all the others are really really good

This season along with the finale was freaking great.

Just saw that trailer but I’ve only seen episode 1 and I thought it was good just the special effects weren’t but those effects look amazing. I’d definitely watch a superman show like that.
