He works the farm and is a football coach at his sons school and he works with the military to try and catch people and he is superman. I think he spends a lot of time out an about doing work than he does in the house being a stay at home dad
He's an assistant coach, works on the farm and is superman-ing most of the time. Lois did more of the parenting cause Clark had to do save people. He wasn't ever a stay at home dad
I love this showing how strong he is. The old Superman can blow planet by sneezing and his heat vision can light up a whole planet like the sun and close a black holes.
Man Jordan about to catch these hands. I understand that he is young and in love but he will not jeopardize the safety of that family because he thinks he is in love. Bruh just started high school and is ready to risk it all for his first time girlfriend. 😑😒
Honestly who is more of an idiot? Simp Jordan for wanting to put his family in danger for wanting to tell Sarah. Or Simp John for ruining his life pretending to deal drugs not to get his girlfriend of 5 minutes in trouble? Dad's teach your son's not to Simp.
Reminds me of the shit currently going on in the Superman Comics. He is totally in love with his bf and follows him like a lapdog and parrots everything he says even when it's clear he's being manipulated ( either that or Jay is the writers pet) and when Bats points it out he throws a hissyfit like a toddler.
@@AlSidre That’s Jonathan’s storyline. But since Jordan doesn’t exist in the comics, i guess they wanted to translate onto this as a nod to the source material maybe??? Or maybe it’s just a coincidence cuz Jonathan has a whole other story here and he got his powers much younger in the comics.
This shows how superman is actually human and can relate to us. You dont want your son to ever start fights and you would get pissed to. But this shows that even superman can get pissed at his own family and he isnt perfect. Which is why people love this show when you can relate a man who is basically indestructible and supposedly perfect to a normal human thats called good story telling
@@AlSidre yeah I didn’t like that he didn’t pay much attention to Jon I get that if Jordan makes one wrong move shit can go down but Clark has to find a way to make time for them both
@@chattynoir2934I think because most dads are usually calm and patient so they only get angry when it is something big so their anger at that time is😡😤🤬😖😠
It's called not having a temper. Even Superman clearly shows he would never lash out like that if it weren't for the kryptonian because that's simply not normal behavior. It is good to discipline your children but making them concerned of whether you're going to hit them is only doing bad things.
How this scene didn't solidify this show as THE premiere comic show is beyond me. Everything about this is the epitome of CB media. This show deserves better.
@@kathrynhoward4196 the actor for superman stood in front of advertisements for superman stuff and people didnt realize it was him. so, pretty sure it works just fine.
@@frz3rbRnotaku1 It's also probably muscle memory just bc he almost always has to give on punches otherwise whoever hit him would end up breaking their hand
Question tho, most grown (human) men can easily take a punch from any highschooler, he didn’t have to be so dramatic lol. Most human men there head would of turned a little bit they would still eat that punch like nothing!
@@senister14 Ohhhhh, you meant in a literal sense! I thought you didn't understand what he meant but it turns out you didn't hear him. I'm a little stupid sometimes. 😅🤦🏼♀️
I would have thought that Jonathan's hand would be in pain after hitting his dad's face. The only thing I can think of is that his dad moved his face at super speed to avoid his son suffering an injury.
Bruh as someone with TONS of experience teens are the literal worst. All that angst, frustration, inexperience and entitlement just makes a hell of a time for everything and everyone.
Their wedding rings were most likely custom made by him so at the very least his was probably made with Kryptonian material to make sure he wouldn't break it by accident.
@@SummonedByJah That's no longer canonical with this version of Superman. Season 2 confirmed that S&L's Superman was the first and only superhero on that Earth (prior to John Henry, his daughters and Jordan joining in). And even if it hadn't been retconned to be set on a completely different Earth, that scene was in the previous multiverse where Clark and Lois only had 1 son and we know a lot of thing changed with Crisis. I did have that specific scene in mind though when I said it was most likely custom made as both Supergirl's Clark and Smalville's Clark made their respective proposal ring by creating their own diamonds with their Super Strength. We just have no official confirmation that S&L's Clark did the same, just assumption that he did.
Someone said being Superman must be like trying to hold an egg in your hand constantly and not crush it. I think this scene is a perfect example of that
How quickly Lois turned on him. Saying dad and he comes running, saying she’ll take the kids to school as if Clark intentionally did something wrong. It’ll always be that way because he’s Superman. An alien with the potential to wipe out the entire planet. But here he was just being a tough dad and honestly Jordan needs it.
i mean if you were in that scenario wouldnt you do the same thing?because clark wasnt in a good mental place because of the bizzaro.and he definitely wasnt in the right mental place to take the kids to school so you cant really blame lois
My grandpa would have loved this show. He was obsessed with Smallville. He died a long time ago now. He had a stoke and I remember driving behind the ambulance to the hospital. He would have loved this show
He probably perceived the punch as it was happening and rolled his head with it to avoid his son seriously injuring himself and outing the whole family in the process
