Clark has to learn that he has to sometimes let Jordan make mistakes cuz that’s how he will learn and grow and with his powers growing everyday he can’t deal with this kind of stuff alone and it’s good for him to be prepared in case Clark does need his help even though he doesn’t like it
You will make mistakes but acts like that can cost thousands of people their lives. You can't be impulsive doing that type of work because you'll do more harm than good if Clark/Superman didn't know how to handle that it would've been more serious.
Jordan is actually claiming that he "had it under control" when he clearly didn't. Screwing up is bad enough, but not acknowledging it is a very dangerous attitude for someone with that much power.
Yes, that would have been some great episodes Clark and Sam, pick out a few small missions and be like okay Jordan there is a bank robbery go to it & remember you have school tomorrow.
I'm sorry the title of this video is wrong. Superman didn't save his son Jordan. Superman was scolding his son Jordan for trying to do something he was not prepared to do and nearly killed a bunch of people in the process. How many power to do almost anything is one thing. But using that power recklessly can cause more harm than good. Jordan's main mistake in this whole thing is he didn't evaluate it correctly and he could've killed more people than save them.
I really liked this show in season 1 but I'll be honest I've kind of stopped watching Mainly because of scenes like this where Clark and Lois are just really shitty parents. Instead of just yelling "Obey me" like you're General Zod how about talking him through what he did wrong. Listening to him and understanding his motivations but try to push it in a constructive way
@@ThePandaaa I'm not saying he shouldn't have gone right home But Jordan's motivation came from a good place He wanted to help A good parent wouldn't have just started yelling like that but would have tried to guide that motivation somewhere constructive
@@thebobbrom7176 I see what you're saying, but Jordan is not just another kid. He has great power, and we all know the rest of that saying. Jordan not only disobeyed Clark, his action could have cost people's lives if Clark hadn't intervened. And yet after that he still has the nerve to claim he "had it under control." Jordan isn't taking his mistake seriously, and kind words won't get that across to him.
