Sarah and Jordan broke up because he wasn't present not his fault he was being superboy when she found out she still felt they wouldn't have a normal relationship with him always up and leaving so they agreed to break up and be friends fast forwards she has another friend that so happens to be a guy and Jordan gets jealous and tries to hurt her by saying things like "I wish I never dated you" and stuff like that he was also abusing his powers which made Sarah feel upset because she was trying to help him keep his secret so with him just exposing himself it made it feel like a huge waste of time
@@DazedN7 true but it could be different in the Smallville series Clark met Lois when he was a high school senior, so who knows maybe Jordan will meet his Lois Lane when he's a high school senior
Being a man means apologizing when you had a hand in doing wrong, regardless of how justified you are in how you feel. Jordan’s finally learning to release the feelings he was bottling up since the break-up, and this is a big step forward for him. It’s not really about Sarah, it’s really about Jordan (like Clark said).
@@alexdoriscaTrue. Even though I do believe Jordan was justified (to an extent) to be angry with Sarah, in the end, he was just continuously poisoning himself with that anger and it eventually spilled over into his other personal and professional relationships. And I think that's how his big mistakes began to manifest themselves.
I agree with you, however I know that Clark is right. The unfortunate reality is that a man’s hurting pain is always marginalized to mean nothing even though how we feel and our feelings or emotions are just as valid or women’s feelings and emotions. However ultimately he’s right. It doesn’t make marginalizing a man or a male’s hurt and pain wrong, but it’s not right to do your best to make the other person feel just as bad as they make you feel. Understanding goes along way.
No Jordan was the one being cruel and mean he was basically making stuff up for him to be mad at Sarah about when the real reason is because he and Sarah are not together and that is not ok
@@micahfranklin4560 Exactly. He tried to cope with his pain by making up reasons to be angry at her and therefore led to him poisoning both Sarah and himself. Clark said it himself, often times when you try to hurt someone out of pain, you're really hurting yourself. Sarah may not have handled letting down Jordan easily perfectly, but Jordan chose to blow the situation out of proportion. And in the end, this was the aftermath, and being able to be civil with each other should be counted as a blessing after everything that happened
Sarah cheated on Jordan then openly treats him like shit yet he has to be nice to her cmon clark. Dude saved her despite her doing nothing but be a terrible friend towards him and guilt trip and even victimizing herself. Tbh Clark is a terrible parent and every single problem that came up could have been fixed by simply announcing that there is a Superman and Superboy. The public and the media would not question it seeing as there were multiple kryptonians flying around in the past seasons. As for the attention thing dude wants recognition I’m sure everyone would want some sort of recognition if they randomly got super powers. Plus clark tells him to train in the fortress alone but doesnt even bring him on test missions like something as basic as stopping a mugger or bank robbery. He always says don’t do a mission without me but then tells him to stay home. Not even gonna go over the fact that if jordan hadn’t saved Sarah and that guy they’d be burying both of them. The DOD could have even said they have a team of super heroes patrolling since so many events have been happening in smallville and considering Lana knows she could have easily said she agreed to it. Its just dumb thinking overall by everyone tbh just much easier to blame the kid trying to be like his dad than figure out better ways for him to help.
Clark is a good Dad. And he is right just because someone did wrong by you doesn’t mean it’s ok to be mean to them and besides Jordan already forgave her for that so why keep bringing it up ?
Everyone thinks superman is the only one on earth that is a superhero. People will find out he has a son and they’ll put two and two together that Lois is the wife
His son has a lot of power. He’s teaching him to have great restraint. He’s not on the same level as human beings, and his emotions cannot be expressed so lightly. Also, he still sees him as a kid. He’s obviously going to wait until he’s older. You’re acting like as if Clark Kent didn’t struggle with the same issues. He understands the mistakes that his son might make it because he made similar mistakes. His son still acts in very immature ways. Why would he take him on missions? He’s simply not ready.
That look she gave him at the end was interesting. Pretty obvious she still has feelings for him. Sarah has been confirmed to return in season 4, and it wouldn't surprise me if they end the series with them getting back together. The actors clearly ship them, and the writers have plans for her this season.
At the end of the day both Jordan and Sarah are still kids and have done immature things to each other. They aren't stupid adults acting like children such as Ross and Rachel or Bette and Tina. I have that gut feeling Clark will temporarily die at the start of season 4 (because of Doomsday, like in the Death of Superman comic) and it will bring Sarah closer to Jordan to comfort him in his grief, especially if the world is in his hands, and they will make up and get back together before or after Clark comes back. Also can't wait for Tom Cavanagh to appear in the finale 😄🙏🏻
I posted a video essay about Superman & Lois 👀 0:07 Lois is all of us haha Jordan has been a walking red flag all season. I’m glad he was able to apologize.
2:48 - Yeah… no, Clark. Sarah strung Jordan along this whole entire time. She insufferably switches between annoyed when he’s pursuing her, and agitated when he’s doing his SHIT (Super Hero in Training) stuff instead of being her emotional tampon at that given moment, shows no modicum of gratitude for saving her life numerous times yet wouldn’t think twice to leave him to fend for himself in social situations knowing how socially awkward he gets, she even went and made out with another girl behind his back knowing how he feels about her. She constantly treats him like dog shit all while painting herself as the victim every step of the way, but _HE’S_ the one who has to “make things right” with her? Nah, dude. Replace. Don’t chase.
Her character bothers me too, but she didn’t really do anything wrong in this situation. Jordan’s finally learning to let go of the anger and sadness that he’s been battling since the breakup and becoming a man. He needed this more.
Yeah but he still only has 2 arms and would also need to carry Jon and Lois so it really is a pack light situation as no one wants to do multiple trips back and forth
If Jordan had obeyed Clark's orders about no rescues without him present then Sarah (and Junior) would be DEAD and there would be no issue of making up. It is really starting to come across as Clark antagonizing Jordan just for the heck of it. Just a reminder: Jordan was medically diagnosed with Social Anxiety Disorder. Which neither Clark nor Lois seems worried about even though Jordan's only "friend" is his ex who was openly and publicly mean to him because that's just how she is. I hope we never see her character again.
@@ThePandaaa - But, as I said above, Jordan has Social Anxiety Disorder and no friends. So it's only natural that Jordan should crave attention. If Clark weren't so self-absorbed he would understand that, especially since he himself can be a real attention w----, needlessly making public appearances as Superman because he likes the attention. If he were as modest as he wants Jordan to be, then he would be more of a secretive Batman type hero, not strutting around in public.
@@daniels7907this isn't social anxiety it's EGO this time that's why clarks mad he is trying to teach him discipline there are going to be people who he might have to save and didn't want to ego cannot be part of that ...
@@janderson947 - As I have said before, Clark is a hypocrite in this. There is NO reason for Superman to make public appearances or go around unmasked. He does it because he loves the recognition. He even tempts face by spending far too much time openly in Smallville as Superman. It comes across as Clark wanting all that praise and adoration, and only now denying it because Jordan is acting like him.
@@daniels7907 no he doesn't how many times did he save LEX lex hated him so it's not recognition he loves being superman but guess what he loves being clark MORE and that's why it's best to keep it separate for his good they will have enemies so everyone founding out about jordan isn't helping...
Technically it’s Kent and Kushing drama. Sara has her fathers last name but I totally agree, the drama went on for too long this season. This clip tho has shown Jordan maturing and being the bigger person to say sorry and finally letting the drama die by being on good terms with Sara and Sara being on good terms with Jordan.
@@kevsdigitalartsmore3743 True I forgot about that and yeah Jordan is showing a lot of maturity here but he also has a long way to go and you know he's young but he'll get there he's a good kid
@@anonymousinternetperson for Jordan as a mature person and to become his own superhero he is getting there but best for him to take baby steps which he is doing. I agree with you, he is a good kid with flaws just like all kids his age.
U mean to tell me that Jordan was making up stuff to angry about all because he is upset that he and Sarah are not together ?!?!?!? that is low even for him
Y'all are doing what Clark said and it's hilarious. Taking a small thing and making it a big deal. U idiots don't even watch the show properly. U didn't even realize that this time Jordan was the fuck up
Jordan need a haircut and a serious attitude adjustment. Lois needs to stop with the squashing of Jonathan all the time. She is a horrible mother. Clark is inept as a father.
All parents do the best they can with what they have. It's not like we hand out manuals on parenting at the hospital. Most people just do what was done to them. And look at the world... The Kent's care and try.
@@mariacristinabravo4681 Exactly. Clark didn't end up with Lana after all. What's neat about the way the writers wrote Jordan's character is that, like most introverted teenagers who are coming out of their shell for the first time, he wants to take on the world. But he's still got a lot to learn. Truth is he should be focusing moreso on himself, but then there'd be no extra drama to help drive the show.
Even the whole thing with Jordan getting hated for having a slight ego?? He is proud of himself and thinks he is cool for saving lifes and he is a bad person because of it?
Why do you guys blame women for everything? You have no evidence. It’s literally a CW show. They are known for ridiculous dramas and toxic relationships.
@@kathrynhoward4196 And it wasnt even him taking credit in front of everyone, just hearing others compliment him and him being proud. Like cmon he was a depressed kid who now is finding self worth and they try to make it seem like he is letting his ego to his head
