Superman and Lois needs better villains like Lex Luthor which I am glad he is going to be in the show but the show also needs villains like Metallo , livewire , Zod , Atomic Skull , Toy man , Kalabak even Doomsday
This is the kind of stuff I could only wish for back when I was watching smallville. Small screen production really has come a long way but now I'm all old and shit.
I like how the whole time Superman was trying to hurt dude. Just talk to him while eating everything he though at him. Like you gone get tired after a while. You done yet. Now let me help
Different producers/show runners. The CW isn't just one team, the main Arrowverse Earth shows (Flash, Batwoman, Arrow etc) is an entirely different team than this show, or Naomi (which has its own team) or even Stargirl for that matter. That is why all these shows exist in their own universes despite being in the same multiverse known as the Arrowverse, because the teams for these shows want complete creative control over their projects and don't want the tone requirements and other limitations from other shows ruining their work. Also, this is a higher production quality because superman is the face of DC, and the successes have only emphasized that more giving them a better budget. Lastly, Tyler is a seriously talented actor with a history of playing such leading roles, and he really cares about getting superman right.
Superman has always been hard to do through a visual medium(TV/Movies) due to the numerous abilities he has needing to be displayed visually. (_Flight, Heat Vision, Cold Breath, visualizing the Super Speed affect from both points of view_) *. . . But what they do with both the Visual Effects and overall Cinematography is amazing*
“Superman: Legacy” (2025), as a media adaptation, is basically going to be filmmaker James Gunn’s version of the original 1978 film, “Man of Steel” (2013) and this show that’s currently airing on the CW, “Superman & Lois”!
I was hoping for the Dragon Ball Z treatment. Where they fly off to the endless desert for a fight so powerful it changes the topography of the lifeless region.
He's a great Superman, you can see they draw a lot of inspiration from Zack Snyder's Man of Steel too. Hopefully, WBD and Safran-Gunn won't cancel this like they cancelled the other shows once Gunn's Superman starts production.
You got to admit for a TV seroes. this show offers a lot of action and destruction, with Superman and his villians actually using their powers to duke it out!
I hope in the future henry cavill, brandon routh and tyler hoechlin will appear in a multiverse in james gunn's dcu reboot and meet the new superman dcu in crisis on infinite earth.
for fights like these i just dont get why he fights the villians in like the south or north pole or antarctica or in a middle of a desert or a green like area or a huge farm or even like a very deserted and barely populated city/village the dude can travel at the speed of sound he can fly him anywhere there in seconds less then a minute
@@brandonbarclay6218 Well, I just quoted the producers. That’s what they said. Lex will sneak up in us later in the season when we least expect him to show up. It will be big…
What he was hearing were sounds similar to what the bad guy was doing in the beginning of the clip, so he flew up because he was worried. When he looked and saw no destruction happening {it was all a sound illusion), he flew back to where the weird looking guy was to see what was happening. Basically, the weird guy in the mask caused the sound illusions which distracted him
If this was Homelander he would laser any threat in second so no more collateral damage could happen. Consequentlly, Homelander are better than Superman.
@@matthewyeager5886Homelander couldn't even beat a guy like Captain America much less another with his same powers as is the case here, not to mention that Superman is much stronger
