Instead of being petty, Clark should have used this as a teaching opportunity, including how to make an exit once the superhero stops the disaster. But instead he's an ape trying to assert dominance against a younger challenger.
@@VengefulBatz - So does Clark. What's your point? It's especially ridiculous that Superman made a point to show up in downtown Smallville after beating Ally (and having addressed a town hall meeting before that). Mind you, this is a town where most people have known Clark Kent their whole lives! So, shouldn't Superman avoid being seen hanging around Smallville with suspicious regularity ever since Clark moved back to town? This is just plain bad writing. The writers are telling us that Clark is "careful" with his secret identity because he wears glasses and "people see what they want to see". But Jordan doing the same thing while wearing a hood and aviator goggles is somehow more risky. Even though he's a social misfit that few people in town pay much attention to and have known a fraction as long as they've known Clark.
@@daniels7907 Exactly. The writers trying to act like Jordan is doing anything wrong is my biggest problem with this show. Clark's actions should've outed the secret before the twins were even born, and we're supposed to believe these idiots are inexplicably starting to put two and two together after decades? And what the hell is so bad about wanting credit? That doesn't make him a bad person or hero.
It’s not petty. Remember this Clark saw what happened to the bizarro family and their life in the spotlight; it drove them apart, literally. Perhaps he doesn’t want this for his family here
