Dang man! That's the worst when you've committed to purchasing a bike and travel to pick it up and it falls through. Good on you for passing on it though... that can be really difficult to do especially after all the work of picking a trailer up and driving out, but sometimes that's the right move. Damn dude. That sucks. It was probably a good call to not get the bike. I probably would have walked away from it too.

@@UrbanMoto I know, I have made the mistake of not walking away more than once and regretted it later. Takes away from the whole buying experience when you get it home and realize it's a bigger problem than what you thought. I have never seen a bike have all the issues you're talking about from falling over in the driveway especially with no damage. Either way you did the right thing. I was in a situation once with something similar and I saw the paperwork after coming back after it had been fixed from the dealership and something still didn't feel right and I did walk away from that one and was glad I did. What you're talking about is the ultimate letdown had you bought a bike that looked that nice and it turned out to have all these weird little problems that had to be fixed. Even under warranty. You did right to have the owner try to have it fixed first under warranty in the meantime you have time to think about it or keep looking.
