Makes it all the worse when you realize demons cannot take a dead body they can keep one on the verge of death going but once the life’s gone it’s a no go and he waisted hard to get holy water
I more did a forhead slap demons cannot take over a dead body so that was useless and wasted his holy water (yes wasted sense unless they come across a priest who not only believes in monsters but is willing to help them they would have to sneck small amounts of it out over a long time from a church)
Jason didn’t want to do the water in the face thing he said in one con interview that they basically forced him when a fan pointed out demons can’t take a dead body and that hunters would have a hard time getting holly water so it was a stupid waste
Two funniest moments in this scene - Dean : "Bobby, it's me!" Bobby : "My ass!" Bobby : "But how did you bust out?" Dean : "I don't Know. I just uh, woke up in a pine b . . ." *Bobby casually throws holy water in Dean's face* *Dean spits holy water out of his mouth.* Dean : "I'm not a demon either ya know." Bobby : "Sorry. Can't be to careful." Me To Both Moments = 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Just saw the episode in season three called "Mystery Spot," and in that one Bobby tells Sam "It's good to see you, boy," too. That makes this hurt *SO MUCH WORSE*.
I love the scenes were Bobby is in a fight... you can see the Marien combat training is still heavily ingrained. Always awesome to watch, like a predatory cat.
Fun Fact: When Dean looked at the newspaper for the date in this episode, it said Thursday, September 18, 2008. That would have been my first birthday!
It's like, aww, a heartwarming reunion hug…followed by a splash of holy water to the face. I guess that's hunters for you. ^^; What did Bobby say Dean might be after "shapeshifter"? A rabbaman? I couldn't make out the word.
Can we just appreciate the fact that Bobby is acting really smart here? If you are living in the world full of supernatural (wink-wink) beings you NEED to act like this to survive.
Revenant, =) Medieval legend where a recently deceased member of a family comes back to harass people. They're a bit like a cross between vampire and zombie stories, I think.
Bobby was more of a father figure for Dean and Sam. But for Sam, I would say that it was his big brother who was more of a parent to him, Dean was a father, a mother, a great protector. In all the episodes where there was John or Mary, I did not find the same feeling of affection that Bobby had with Dean and Sam.
the "IM NOT A SHAPE-SHIFTER!" line is very telling of how well Dean knows Bobby, being able to instantly call out Bobby's train of thought. A great way to further emphasize Dean's ability to prove it is really him.
Great scene; thanks for uploading. ...Am I the only one who thinks that Dean was telling the truth about not remembering his time in Hell at THIS point?
They gave us a few (albeit underwhelming) flashbacks from his time in hell, to show us he *does* remember. If there is one thing Dean is good at, it's fooling his own emotions to the point where he starts believing his own bullshit. Of course, that always comes back to hitting him like a flaming semi truck falling on his face.
While yes I agree that this is funny, but to hunters its heartbreaking and scarry. With who knows how many monsters there are that can disguise or change themselves into another persons shape and somebody showed up at your door that was dead for a couple of months there reaction would be to kill it straight away or proof that person is real once you have them secure someplace.
Let's be honest Bobby didn't throw holy water in Dean's face because he thought he might be possessed. He did it for all the times Dean got under his skin and used the "checking for possession" as a cover story.
my biggest question always been how was dean not a demon after being broken, thats usually the process, get tortured until you start being the torturer
Even in first seasons, just touching silver burns, there is no need to cut and bleed yourself. Cutting yourself for proving is just “show effect” which irritates me.
