That's the thing that's most impressive. Defyn can just... take control of a game like that.

Positioning is one of the greatest skills you can learn in RB IMO. It's a tool that allows you to dismantle an enemy team piece by piece even in the face of unfavorable odds.

most my deaths are dumb shit like head-ons I couldn't dodge/messed up, carries that were impossible or the enemy just having a way superior plane. If I have deaths that I think are worth showing I show them. Like you will in the next video

@@DEFYN I think perhaps what could be useful is showing the deaths of your enemies from their perspective in the replay, because it can be a bit hard for less experienced players to visualise the sight picture that your target will see while you outmaneuver and kill them, to know what went wrong.

I tend to bleed SL in this plane because of the high repair cost. I feel like i get focused

The stock grind on this plane is atrocious! The missiles are almost a requirement to have but they take forever to get because the high cost of the modifications

High repair cost is just retarded, doesn't matter if the plane is OP or not.

Its the same company that gives the german il28 a 15k repair while its just a copy paste of the Russian one which has half the repair so you can't really expect any kind of logic behind the repair costs

less people play it therefore skewed statistics. Much more people play the MiG-15

Most of us in banshees no matter how good our maneuver is, and how much we tactically pick our enemies while maintaining our support role, still get insta clapped by migs alike, especially when u get up tiered towards the g91's and swifts. the only thing u can pray for is no body will be paying any attention to ur ass T_T it's like one second ur at 800km/h. u do a short and slight, shallow turn, suddenly ur at 500 for some reason. most planes u face have better energy retention than u do and better acceleration too. in my case it's hard to maintain speed as constant uptiers, u have enemies faster than you and will still catch you even if u have energy advantage at the start. the last f2h he made was years ago

F9F-2 and F9F-5 have straight wings, decent turn, but low top speed and acceleration. They have a better roll rate than MiGs, but they will be worse than Sabres and Mysteres at everything. F9F-8 has swept wings, which makes it turn worse, but gives it a higher top speed, and it also has slightly better acceleration and 4 missiles. The missiles give it an edge over other planes, and even though your opponents will be faster, the difference will not be as much, and you will be able to get out of sticky situations easier. The F-2 and F-5 should be 8.0 IMO, while the F-8 is fine at 8.3.

he already has vids on both and nothing really changed in how you play these planes so they're still pretty accurate

French jets are pretty fine and balanced. The only issue is the fact that the MiG-15s and F-86s are now at 8.3. Baguettes have a very clear place on the spectrum of TURN-----------------------------------ENERGY. Somewhere in the middle. Basically, you mostly don't have find very small specific advantages over your enemies to be used situationally. Instead, if you know your opponent's plane, you know you can generally either BnZ or turn against him. However, when facing MiG-15s and Sabres on your six, you have to be more situational, since they are simply better planes put at a too low BR MiGs compress at higher speeds, and you can easily outroll them in defensive maneuvers. Their guns are also shit and have low velocity, so it's generally very hard for them to hit you and you can easily dodge shots. F Sabres are better than you at everything, so you have to be smart and try to force an overshoot and then turn into him for a shot. Use flaps sometimes and maybe airbrake if you need. The A-5 Sabre turns much better, but bleeds more energy than you, so he will get slower than you, so you can run from him after a maneuver. In a 1v1, the MD450B will have a harder time keeping up a sustained circle fight, but the 452 can keep its energy better, as it has a better engine than the MD450, but the A-5 will turn better at first, giving him a huge window of opportunity to shoot you, so try to get him slow. MD450 has a good turn rate and will be easier to maneuver with. MD452 you have to try to stay faster, this you can use to run to your team for help. So stick to the team always. Also climb at around 10 degrees or so to get a better energy state. If better performing enemies are chasing you away from the main fight and trying to isolate you from your team mates, don't keep running, because then you're more likely to die. Turn back towards the fight before the enemies are within 2km from your six so that you have time to create a sharp angle for them to overshoot, dodge their guns and keep flying towards your team again, since you *don't want to get in a dogfight with MiGs or Sabres in the first place* With everything else at the same BR, you will pretty much have some basic performance advantage with turn or energy. Also take headons mostly, especially with the MD452 IIC that has 30mm, but obviously don't commit to it.

AIM-9B's. They have 10 G's max overload, and are relatively easy to dodge. However, I'm sure Defyn made them look like AIM-9J's :P

An Angry P-47 Yea lmao, he’s the Phly of Air RB. I’m researching the F104 rn and normally I’d just ditch the missiles when they’re as bad as these, but I think an F104 might actually be fast enough to make them effective, at least in a down tier.
