Sur-Ron motor hall effect sensor failure? 

Thanks a lot , u fixed my 9000£ modded sur Ron 💪 and u saved me 80£ on a new hall sensor, I used 2 pack epoxy glue tho as I don’t want this issue again lol

Just a FYI, my Surron kept cutting out and all the safety switches and tilt sensor were unplugged. Replaced the throttle, no luck. Tried different battery, no luck. Opened the motor, it looks clean and fine. Check wiring, no luck. Bought a KO Pro controller and the motor ran backwards at first. Switched two phase wires, it jerked like crazy so switched them back. Recalibrated with the app and finally it learned to go forwards, Now its finally running and seems normal again. Not sure if my magnet slipped but it seems to be fixed so far. Crazy issue.

I had the same issue with my bike. The bike would be jerky and wouldn’t move at full throttle. I did take apart the motor, I only noticed 1 notch. How do I align it if there’s only one notch on the motor? What I’m I missing? My bike is a 2018 Sur Ron model. Mahalo!!!

did u just cut the wire for the old one?

You Need a sensorles Controller! Do you try the VESC Form trampaboards

My bike runs fine for 15 minutes then cuts out after an hour it runs again would this be the issue?

How did you temove the magnet to realign the notches ,just ory it off carefully ? Do you have a video of that details?

Im super curios to this controller and how it utilizes the sensor. i come from the rc world and most "escs" that are sensord have a sensorless mode and after a certain rpm in sensor mode it will convert to sensorless mode for efficecy. you had metioned a gps plug in another video for eu models why?

my surron x has 1300 miles ...turned the key on after a very short ride and no power...thought i heard my ignition sizzling a few times while turning the key...so im hopin its the ignition...ordered 1 on amazon "booooo"...but if its not that... wut do u think it could be???

Does anyone know how to disable the temperature sensor. My surron only works when it's warm and sunny. I've tried everything else...

My motor stopped,, it jerked,, now its difficult to push even when off with battery disconnected,, did a magnet break , do i need a new motor?

Someone is trying to charge me 200 bucks to get the hall sensor replaced. Wish i knew how to mess with the motor to see whats up with it

I had the same issues in my Surron X w/ ASI BAC 4000 controller. I ordered a new hall sensor and got the motor open. Now the new sensor comes with 2 more wires that are connected to the engine itself on the old sensor. Did you have this too and do you know how to solve this? Thank you!
