SURVIVAL OVERNIGHT - Log Shelter, Deadfall Trap, Foraging Winter Edibles
Amongst the dense hardwood trees here in the Southern Appalachians, I find myself playing with the leaves during these harsh winter days. Wintercress, Garlic Mustard, Chickweed and Mountain Lettuce combined make for a tasty winter salad in the bush. The dugout shelter performed well and kept me dry during the bitter frosty night.
