He lost once before the same way, got knocked off the train tracks by an ambulance I believe.

@@meandthepotatoes4916 True, though in that case he had been knocked off by a player and the death was just attributed to a suicide. This one was full on no hunter contact and just landed wrong.

Haha, that sucks. Do you know why Alex / we hear the hunters when he has a problem with his controller? Controller problem notification at 17:32, & we can hear you guys around 17:54. Same thing happened during the "Race Engined Motorhome - Wreckfest" video at 10;27 when he had a problem with the controller. Could clearly hear the other guys say Alex has a problem at 10;32. You can confirm it was them talking by watching Longbows version of the same race starting at about 11;00. Can Alex always hear the hunters/other racers, or is that just some glitch when leaving &/or joining the group or game?

@@Vic.Vega_RD as far as I know he takes off his gamer headphones (muted) during filming so its the party coming out the monitor. If he wore headphones and filmed you'd hear it.

Just got to the end and now I’m disappointed... still epic though.

Honestly I feel as if he deserved to die there. There's so many times in this video he really shouldn't have survived, caused by driving/car grip issues, risky decisions or mistakes on Alex's end. It couldn't have kept working out for him forever!

@@modothegreat108 It's just like you said. He was supposed to be dead many times. But it's also that same fact which made the whole thing otherworldly unlikely to happen a second time. It was an extremely rare opportunity to cement that one chase as one of the most legendary, if not THE pinnacle of the series. A magnum opus of sorts, if you would. Losing such an ordeal and the uniqueness of it in a couple of seconds hit like a train. But it won't be the last we see of it, is it now? If it wasn't this one, the best one will probably be much better than this. ;)

@@yoshida.azumi. The end was poetic in its own way, I think. But so long as this channel is called FailRace, this won't be the last we see of Alex and his shenanigans!

@@thomaspanditfan2435 In all honesty, I was a little surprised that that counted as a loss as the hunters didn't catch/kill him, but rather a self kill due to game mechanics draw of the card. I don't recall it ever explicitly being mentioned that that would be a win condition for the hunters, and it could be interesting to treat that as being thrown out of the vehicle for future STHs since he respawned so close.

Well that is the idea Themtube wants to turn the platform into.

@@Vic.Vega_RD alex is in the same party as everyone but has everyone muted but when his controller disconnected it played through the speakers meaning that the audio wouldve been picked up

It wasn't because of their self-imposed rules that he didn't blow that Prii up. The game itself didn't let him do it. Apparently, they have included a maximum range for the remote detonator in the game.

Drive too far away and the sticky bomb despaens, I believe, hence why he had to chuck another one.
