I believe her life was spared because she wasn't who he was targeting. He targeted the ones that he said bullied, harassed and picked on him. This is never a reason to take someone else's life. Also, it is a wake up call for us to see that you don't go around treating people bad either. If you are having problems with people, or even within yourself, get some help!

I read that apparently the shooter had been made fun of for looking like a serial killer and had left a "death note" on his phone (article online) before the shooting, so maybe that was the reason he went off? But definitely doesn't make it right. Just might be the possible motive. I pray for the families to be at peace during this tragedy.

She wants to know why she was spared he spared her because if I'm not mistaken she just started the job that's why he sent Jesse home whatever triggered that man off and whatever happened in that store he was mad at something that happened before Jesse started working there I could be wrong and it could have been just by the grace of God that he spared her but when they mention that she just started it seems like he had a little heart to send Jesse home

Do you think he was nearly out of bullets and wanted to use the last one on himself, so that's why he spared her?

i've seen this poor woman on so many interviews and they need to give her some space... she's going through so much trauma right now, she needs support, love and kindness. not to have interviews and talk about hard topics.

I can tell jessie is for sure being medicated now from ptsd..I pray that she gets the help she needs..I hope walmart compensates the survivors. The store needs to cover all help for them

Jessie I believe he spared you because you was not one that harassed or picked on him; stop thinking this man was not harassed or picked on. Another employee they interviewed said that any time someone was hired the other employees would talk about him who does that and thinks that it is ok. God bless you Jessie always remember this bec of your kind spirit you made it to see another day.

Not sure if i trust her. Zero tears and looks like she’s trying hard to cry. An employee but doubt her story. Edit: especially after he killed a 16 year old kid, doesn’t make sense for him to spare her just because she’s a mom.
