I love this. I grew up with the Osmonds and was a fan of Donny as well as his brothers and of course Michael and the Jacksons. We were blessed in the 70's to have 2 families with so much talent. And for Donny and Susan to meet the way they have, I have the video of him bringing her roses and they sang together. This is just plain awesome. Great job Donny!!!!! Susan is really amazing!! Wow, she shows the world not to "judge a book by it's cover" or to have premature expectations. She has opened doors for many talented people out there...especially women.
Not many people meet their idol. She deserves that and so much more, she had a dream and with that dream she met Donny Osmond. I am so glad she should the world dreams can come true if you go after them.
Poor Susan, so shy that she rarely looks him in the eyes. I have been painfully shy my entire life also and would probably be doing the same thing. It's certainly something you can't just snap out of. I love the friendship that has developed between Donny and Susan. Both wonderful people with good hearts.
***** I smile and laugh as she has talked about having posters of Donny on her bedroom walls when she was young, and so did I. He's about a year older than me. That was my first "crush", but eventually I was exposed to a lot more music and forget the crush, I moved on to Neil Diamond as well as Simon and Garfunkel after that. And to think they call todays crap on the radio music. I will admit that there are a few songs that are ok but when everything is autotuned, etc. Why bother?

She's very shy, I think. And he loves everyone. Awe, I love her, and hope over time, she got over some of that shyness, but not so much that she's changed much.

This is what I listen to when I'm feeling down. When I watch Donny and Susan, him the veteran singer of nearly 50 years and Susan a professional singer for just a few years and she is still so shy and Donny is so protective of her. I loved when she held out her hand for confidence when they sang and before long, Donny had ahold of her hand and she started to relax, you could see in her body language. I was a Donny/Osmond Brothers fan as a teen also. And here I am again! Only with a twist.

Both are good though. Not sure what happened to Susan, but she looked so stiff on Dancing with the Stars and on The View. It's almost like she's lost some confidence. I hope she can loosen up, a bit, again. Her new CD is just out of this world!

I somehow missed this lovely interview! But I did recentlly stumble on was a little gem of Susan singing with Merrill Osmond. They did 3 songs, but my favorite was her singing on Crazy Horses. I've never seen her sing and look like she's having more fun or more comfortable on stage! So looks like she's gotten more comfortable around people named Osmond! Must be nice 😉😘❤ Wonder would other wonderful little videos I've missed?!

Like Susan, I fell in love with Donny and his brothers around age 12 or 13. I never had a blanket or anything but each week when we would get groceries, I would scour all the teen magazines while my parents shopped, and when they were done, I would have my magazine with the most Donny Osmond pictures and beg for it. That was one thing my dad didn't really argue with. I am roughly the same age as Susan AND I guess Donny as well. Funny how we have all been brought together by this one lady!
