Its no wonder Bob Dylan won a Nobel Prize - such beautiful lyrics and Susan Tedeschi's performance of this is just beautiful.

She opens her mouth and soul rolls out!! AWESOME

I love this song, the maternal and female perspective of Susan Tedeschi's delivery is more befitting, in my opinion, than Bob Dylan's original. For me, it captured that maternal quality that I deeply admire and attracted to in women.

OK... I'm not a church going person BUT I'll be damn if I didn't just go there AND I wasn't expecting to get teary eyed. This touched ALL my heart.

I would go to church if Susan was singing there! Wow. What a voice, and she can play that guitar. I think I have a new "shero!"

Kids, I used ta rush to the house after work, hook the boat up, fash to liquor store and grab couple cases of beer. Then, throw the boat in the river,Ohio, tool upstream to Pittsburgh's point. Why? Cause Susan was playing with BB King. Hook up with 50 or 60 other boats. The sounds that would echo off My. Washington, across the water, then echo back from the Burgh were true bliss. The frieght trains would stop down track. The crews would walk up just ta hear. Glad I got to be a part. Damn, miss them days, or nights if yinz will.

The life of a professional musician is a hard one, waiting to make it big "just around the corner" for years on end, on the road and exhausted then back home but itchy, impatient and unsettled. Very glad that she and Derek Trucks have a successful life and careers together.
