Suspect in Chicago area triple shooting had lengthy history of domestic violence charges

A man who suburban police say shot a woman and her two children earlier this month shot himself during a standoff with federal agents and local police on Friday. Lander D. Coleman has a lengthy history of gun, drug and domestic violence charges, including eight domestic violence cases with just one conviction. They involved different women dating back to 2000. He was sentenced to prison twice, most recently in 2003 for multiple gun offenses.

@@PimplPoppr I grew up in Matteson. True, it was a nice suburb... And section 8 isnt the "main problem". The "main problem" is painfully obvious, demographic change and the seemingly insatiable thirst for "third world" life from this demographic, even in an otherwise idyllic suburb that was *booming* before "the new neighbors" moved in. The major inflection point was when the administration shifted in its demographics... Same with Chicago ... From there Lincoln mall closed and most businesses' were ran out in a multi prong assault on the tenants of civilized society. Meanwhile, neighboring Orland Park is fine, a completely different living experience - right down to walking the old plank road trail... Note, *demographics*. The deeper issue is the most violent etc honestly believe they are "kings and queens"... Thus, they are correct in all their actions, particularly noted in their assertions of dominance via violence and corruption.

No no, you don't understand. We have to address the root causes of crime, not just lock people up. He probably needs mental health services that he's not getting because the relevant departments are run by klansmen. If he just had free housing, food, clothing, healthcare, education and entertainment guaranteed for life, he wouldn't be forced to shoot people.
