I lost my 28 year old to suicide on November 15th, 2023. This has bern one of the most devastating and challenging things that I have ever experienced but I'm going through with God's comfort and peace. I have cried many of days bc I miss him dearly but I can find peace in that he is no longer suffering and is with God
When the husband or the wife says, "we were pregnant" when biologically, only the wife can get pregnant shows you the idea they have of their union in marriage.
My wife and I lost our little Grace when she was 6 weeks old from SIDS. We were devastated to say the least. But God in his infinite grace, used the suffering to change me and draw me to himself. Our Father allowed his own son to die in my place. I can understand to an extent how that feels. I also know that one day there will be a reunion. All glory be to the God of our salvation!
I lost my only son on April 8th, 2022 - he was 23 years old. My son was born with Sickle Cell Disease he suffered all his life. I saw my child take his last 3 breaths then he passed away - all I could say "GOD IS GOOD". I don't cry because my son is with the Lord I cry because I miss him dearly. God loved me and my son and made his decision to call my son home - now that's love. I am grateful for the 23 years I had with my son and they was the hardest 23 years of my life but to GOD be the glory!
Earlier this year, my friend had a miscarriage at 8 1/2months... (Yes, months). They already had a baby shower and they had their nursery ready. They were just waiting for their baby girl to come. Then, one morning, after not feeling her baby move at all, she and her husband went to see the doctor only to find no heartbeat on the ultrasound. 8 1/2 months of loving, caring and preparing for their baby only to morn over her... Life is never certain, but God is certainly good and faithful. Their testimony definitely shows that. P.s. They're expecting again 💕
I've buried my 5 and 20 year old daughters. When I was told by the police officer that my 20 year old had been in a car accident and had died, I remember thinking, "No, this can't be, I've already gone through this 20 year ago with my 5 year old daughter." I still have times when I'm unable to process this loss. I have no other children. The parents who have buried their children belong to a club no parent wants to belong to.
God's ways are higher than our ways. We cannot understand why he does what he does but it is for our best interest. God does things which I cannot understand in the present but ultimately proves why he did it when the time is right. Lorie all I can say is trust God, he will guide you. I lost my only daughter more than 12years ago & I'm not yet a Believer of Jesus.God used those times of pain to draw me closer to Him & accepted Him as my Lord & Savior.It was not a loss but a gain.Me & my husband were SAVED thru that pain & we are so thankfuk & grateful to our God.Blessed be the name of the Lord!

I lost my 6 year old princess almost 7 months ago and it is the worst pain ever. I feel what you went through with her because my daughter also had disabilities and I asked God many times to heal her. I miss her so much.

We lost our beautiful 24 year old daughter two months ago. She was a Christian and engaged to be married. Our pain is so bad. Most days are a terrible struggle to remain in faith. We don’t understand any of this.

My wife and I also lost a set of twins. They were born prematurely and did not have sufficient lung development to survive. Years later, I had an eleven-year period in which I subconsciously wondered about the real, true nature of God. I did not expect the divine gift after that time.. to become unshakably convinced that "there is no malevolence within the Almighty."
My mom passed away last May. It was/ is very difficult for me & my 2 sisters bec it was so sudden we we're not prepared for it. Till now i still cry when i feel this deep longing for her, wishing i wished I'd done more for our mother. 😥😥Just like the others i asked God " why?" not questioning His ways but hoping for an answer to this plain why? I know what it's like to lose a loved one I'm saved but I don't think I would have been able to handle the death of my grandma unsaved it's only because I'm saved and God's sovereign grace I was able to handle it and He held me up
Precious story of life and sorrow and loss. If you live long enough you will suffer loss. Loss of a child, death, estrangement, betrayal, grief over your own sin. Each time we still try to understand and to reconnect with God, not understanding His fullness and His love and His purpose. But trusting His heart that He will bring goodness out of this tragedy and loss. I need to hear this as I say it. I could not imagine the suffering and loss that God has allowed into our lives at this time, but I know He is the only answer. While I grieve, I wait and attempt to put my eyes on Jesus and rejoice over what I have been given. Finding joy despite what has transpired is my goal.

6:18 “When the time of testing comes, it just reveals what you are”. We may think that we have a great faith, that we’re great Christians, but when it comes the time to inspect that, you see it’s not that simple.
Found out Dec 24th we were pregnant with our FIRST baby...announced it to very few people and om Dec 26th, they stated I needed an emergency c-section to have our baby removed from my left fallopian tube because if it ruptures I will die...prayed and hoped for a miracle but the surgery was done. Breaker my heart every year to wonder if it was a boy or girl, but I KNOW God has my baby and when I go home, I will meet my baby. I pray for everyone whose lost a baby, may God comfort you as he did me. Amen
I just lost my baby girl 3 days ago. It doesn't seem real. I'm trying to continue having faith and trusting the process with God. She would've been two next month with her twin sister.
Very encouraging especially for someone trusting in God or waiting on God for something. That phrase that "suffering is meant to bring out something good" gives me more hope when going through tough seasons
How great is GOD, greater than I can imagine, I pray for these people, what a moving message that I just felt, may God bless these Christian's and their loved ones with His presence always. I thank the LORD that I was able to listen to this message.

I lost my 22 year old son on July 18th 2021 and I'm absolutely devastated! He had gotten fired from a job and he took a pill that had fentynyl in it and it killed him! I feel so empty and lost, he was my pride and my life! I'm not mad at God but I question why I'm still here on this sucky planet suffering! I just don't understand God's plan!

My child died of invasive group A strep. Contracted through vaginal birth. I had him in an uber and because I held him in the birth canal for so long so as not to deliver in a stranger's car, he was exposed to it. I was tested for GBS and was positive but at the hospital when I was asked what conditions I had, I mentioned everything but forgot that one. The baby was ok, all tests came out great so I didn't even remember about the GBS. He was ok at his first check up. He was due for his second check up but I postponed it for a few days. Then one day everything was ok but at night he didn't seem to cry as much as he does. I thought nothing of it. We went to bed late at night, around midnight. He didn't wake up to feed and because I was also so tired from watching him alone round the clock, I slept. I woke up and rushed out of bed in the morning to send my other child for her first day of school. As I was bathing, I heard him cry. I asked my husband to check on him and he said he was ok. As I was dressing up my husband rushes with him and says there is something wrong with the baby. I give CPR, I call 911. They came and told me my son is dead. I stopped living. The guilt of knowing it is all my fault and that I could have prevented it if I had gotten to the hospital earlier, if I had remembered to tell them I have GBS, if I had sent him to his two week check up instead of postponing. If I had not slept through the night. If I had gone to him myself when he cried instead of sending my husband. If I had prayed the night before or everyday without fail. If I had flown my aunt in to help me out. There are so many points of guilt. If not for my other child, I would have killed myself. And not only the guilt, but crippling fear of losing my other child keeps me up at night. I just watch her all night long. I'm so tired and my life is meaningless. I still believe in God but I failed Him too by failing my son.
I also have recently lost a son and I am tempted to blame myself. But that’s is a burden to big to bear. I am surrendering it all to God. His will be done. God is our joy and our hope. He is with us always.
I am here because..in my vicinity a 4 yr old boy had gotten his throat slit by his own father...this shook me to the core..and coincidentally in the catholic church I go to was the solemnity of Christ the Universal King just the next day after this murder...throughout the whole service I was like 'What king is that who can't even save a child from getting killed that too by his own father?' Couldn't he give the father a change of heart or something? Like why? Why didn't save that child?
Ones who have known their kids for a good while is a different story than still born babies, or babies who die weeks after being born. People don’t seem to understand this distinction. You have a much stronger soul connection to those who have lived with you for years (whether spouse dies or children). A part of a person dies when they die.
