How tall are you? Im 6'. Is it long enough to comfortably sleep with the hatch closed? Im seriously thinking about moving to a smaller vehicle for camping and travel, but i dont want to be to cramped when sleeping.

For us taller folks, (I am 6’) remember that the passenger front seat folds flat (if you have a non powered passenger seat), so you could put a piece of plywood from the rear seats to that seat making a flat surface for a little more sleeping room etc if needed.

38 in wide twin mattress is easier to use.

The American flag where did you get that from ? What year is your Jeep ? Do you have the Trailhawk version. Also what size mattress will fit a 2019 Cherokee Trailhawk?

I would have cut that last piece in half as pillows and move the rest of the mattress down

This is going to be too late if what I think I’m seeing is true. I own a Casper mattress at home. That cloth “sock” around the foam block is most likely fiberglass. I learned this the hard way after sleeping on it for a couple weeks while I was having the outer mattress cleaned. After 8 years of “friction”, the fiberglass disintegrated and having it exposed threw a fine airborne coating of these glass fibers on every surface of my apartment including my legs and arms and all of my clothes. It is still in the air a full year later. 😢
