Because thats exactly what you'd all do having spent minimum of 5years and 50 million of your money getting the car into production. Money drives sales, but the money from sales drives improvement or the sales go away. If there was no money involved they wouldn't bother fixing it
Nissan should replace their vehicle at no extra cost to this family. Car was just sitting in the driveway. And after it was fixed twice due to recalls.
Statements by companies, corporations and the government… especially after a mass shooting. I’m sick of hearing “Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of the victims” instead of them actually doing anything about it with common sense gun laws… background checks at every PoS, banning military grade weapons, simple things like that… and not holding parents accountable when they refuse to lock up their guns and schools refuse to do anything about bullying
@@GenesisRasphotosmy only complaint with Hyundai is that they make boring and underpowered cars. Otherwise i would drive one. Reliable? Absolutely. But i don’t think they got turbochargers or turbo diesel or convertible options like say a Volkswagen Beetle. And a Volkswagen Beetle is cosmetically cool car too. I don’t what Hyundai has to offer despite being reliable.
"The safety and security of our customers is our primary concern" - I think it comes in way down on their list of priorities after PROFIT and MANAGEMENT BONUSES !.
New cars are having so many issues. They must be cutting corners really bad. Ive seen so many videos of new cars of all different brands having tons of issues. Its scary honestly.
I would agree with that. However, Mazda is starting to come ahead over Toyota and Honda as Toyota and Honda quality and reliability slips downward. Mazda also is one of the last to not get on board the CVT transmission bandwagon. CVT transmissions exist to try and appease epa fuel economy wishes, at the expense of the consumer via high failure rates.
True! Imagine if our do nothing government actually did their jobs that they were elected to do, like protect consumers for just one thing. Warnings and recalls should be their first clue.
@GenesisRasphotos not to sure how class action law suits work, but I assume the money is based off x amount of units or x amount of units that have problems. That being said, yup I fully agree. Government Is allowing this to happen
Ive seen several of them along side of the road burning and even gave a woman a ride home 73 miles from where we were at but 2 miles from my house when hers burned to a crisp

I had always wanted a Nissan Murano.. not anymore. A neighbor's car exploded in their driveway just yesterday. Not sure if it's the same make and model, but there is more ambient heat here in the south, right now.
@@user-hb3yu3oj2n It truly is... unfortunately. And with the state passing no burning even on days in which it's allowed by permit, and although we've had plenty of rain, it's concerning that our soil and underbrush is so dry. Where my cousin lives, there is an overabundance of dry pine needles from all the pine trees and leaves also from hardwood trees.
Ever since the 1980s, US spec Nissan's are notorious for having leaky fuel rails that leak fuel onto hot exhaust manifolds. That's not always the case sometimes its electrical but usually a fuel rail leak.
@@sheilamiller6435 tons of problems with power windows, ac, front seat coming off hinges, frequent ball joints replacement, and more issues that cost a small fortune
You know how many cars go under recall every year you don't hear about Maybe it wasn't Nissan maybe it was the mechanics that worked on it that's at fault
Brake fluid? Of course! It's got nothing to do with batteries self igniting after all. Why didn't we think of that? And amazing how Nissan knew it was a brake fluid before the official investigation! Then it begs the question why they didn't use non flammable brake fluid? I jest, of course.
No, EV’s are todays pinto: 30,000 -150,000 gallons of water required to quench a burning 1,000 pound auto lithium battery; running over pedestrians at far higher rates than gas vehicles in their quiet “sneak up mode” -next step needed to be natural gas powered internal combustion. Oh yeah did I mention jaws of life electrocuting folks when wires are cut, Africans enslaved by small time mining bosses to mine cobalt for China battery makers, lithium strip mining, fact they are charged up by coal and gas turbine powered plants, plus transmission losses to the charging station, lack of recycling of the batteries, etc etc etc
Another corporate lie, but in the Japanese arena. Well, Nissan if customer safety is number one according to this video, you failed miserably back to the drawing board boys. I won’t be buying one.
I would NEVER buy another Nissan vehicle. I had a Nissan Altima for a few years and a mechanic told me the floorboards were rusted out and needed to be replaced. I found there was a class action lawsuit against them because of large #’s of cars w/the problem. Nissan claimed “salt & harsh climate conditions” were to blame. Although, cars in CA had the issue. Nissan won the case. 🤷🏼♀️
Car fires are no joke. They will get a huge payout. In the uk, if you start a car fire near other cars and buildings (like a stranger done to my friends and his neighbours cars) you can be charged with attempted murder.
I love how the judiciary just changes what words mean and we play along like its justice. Attempted to light a car on fire. Cars aren't people. Arson isn't murder. Screw it you tried to kill someone, lol.
Then why do fire departments have to have special equipment and training to deal with EV fires? Because its not easy to put out a EV battery inferno. I'm scared to charge my lawn mower batteries inside for fear of a runaway fire.
The headlights & taillights flashed a few times at the beginning so the fire started AFTER ignition(remote start). It didn’t “suddenly burst into flames.” IF it was parked quietly & caught fire, then that statement would be more accurate. Possibly a leak of some sort ignited upon start up. Just sayin.’ Anywho, terrifying no matter the cause especially after recalls! At least no one was injured and the video will help determine the cause.
A chemistry teacher, finishing his breakfast and leaving a 500 gm block of magnesium next to a leaky bottle of mineral water on the front seat.... Now, there's a conspiracy theory! Any Trump takers? 😂
@@jackn8458 thx for the info. Now: when do we hear about EV’s running over pedestrians and the difficulty in extinguishing thousand pound lithium baggie? Just sayin
It doesn’t “spontaneously combust.” Spontaneous combustion or spontaneous ignition is a type of combustion which occurs by self-heating, followed by thermal runaway and finally, autoignition.
Nissan makes garbage vehicles. Had a Nissan that went through three transmissions. First one died at 2,200 miles. Nissan should just shut down permanently.
I have a mechanic that has worked on my Honda’s for almost 25 years and he is so disappointed in the way they’re being built the last few years that he & his family now will only drive Toyotas.
Not gonna lie was hoping to see a kaboom.... sorry too many movies. Just saw the dark knight yesterday... the scene when the judge is in her car. Yikes.
Good ins job. They didn't drip excess fluid, jam some greasy chip bags in the ventilation areas and let it run out there for 3 hours. Just feel bad the house didn't go up like they wanted. They thought it would get the fuel and take the house so they backed in. Oops
