Suzuki Carry cluster removal to check fitment with Cappuccino cluster. Waiting for wiring.

Slowly chugging away at this. Do you guys happen to know how the Cappuccino's speedometer works? There's a sensor in the diff but what is the voltage or resistance it is looking for to display the speed on the cluster?

Liam Pickering got one out of a Carry van and that had a tach on it. And it fit correctly. When I took my dash out, I unbolted the steering column, and dropped it for easier access.

@@AnythingWheeled Yea, unless you can rig up sone kind of Hall effect setup, that cluster probably isn’t going to work for you.

Look up Miata info, first to second gen they switched from mechnical speedo to digital. The sensor is on the gearbox with different gear crowns available, available in both mechanical or digital form
