When you dropped the screwdriver my first though was thank God it's not just me. Lol Edit: Serves me right for commenting before I finished video. When the gas and parts fell I didn't feel the same way. 100% empathy my friend.
Thank you so much for this video. My GS500 started dying on idle so pulling the carb out was daunting. I ended up having clogged idle jets, which isn't a surprise based on how small the hole is. the dirt or dried fuel was very hard to get out but after a lot of thin wire and blowing I'd say the passage way was a lot more clear. After putting it all back on the bike It refused to run right so changing the petcock setting to prim and just letting the bike idle for a bit helped matters and after changing back to on position it'll run fine, a bit richer, but im assuming that's because of the cleaner jets. Thanks again because without you I wouldn't have been able to do it.
Hi, I have 2005 gs500f, I dropped my bike on the left side. When I started the engine, there is a gas leak on the left side. I took the gas tank out. Gas tank is ok, I don't see any leak. Should I take out the carb and clean it? Need help!!!
I have a 2004 GS500F. Today it just started to stall when I put it in Choke. If I leave it OFF choke it is fine and runs great. When I switch it to Choke it stalls out and won't start. Normally it will start and run great and climb to 4000 RPM and then I back it off choke and it will idle perfectly. Any suggestions on what happened? Thanks!
it is normal that it does not run when the choke is on. the choke is only meant for cold starting the motorcycle. after it heats up to proper temperature the chose should be turned off.
@@JLsAutoSolution OK! Awesome news 🗞️. I am in 93 degrees of heat each afternoon in Central Florida! Ok thanks 👍. God bless 🙏. That makes me feel better
