This Video shows how a Lost of oil can result in a total Engine lost on a 2014 Suzuki M109r we are hoping to rebuild this Engine but Things aren’t looking well.
Great video. We are in Maryland and I have a shop and work exclusively on 109s. Can't tell you how many times we see this from lack of oil. Usually ours come in with a rod sticking through the starter and we end up having to build them a motor out of parts. LOL
Lol 😝 your on the money with that solid truth these 109’s are producing lots of energy with soso lubrication system dang thing requires very frequent oil care and attention especially the way these guys ride them I can’t tell you how many I’ve told these guys “it’s not a Hayabusa” it’s unbelievable cheers 🍻
@@busaj1 the main issue is the cylinders are coated with nikisol. The rings never seat properly so they tend to burn a quart of oil every 3-4k miles. Some burn more and those that don't check it make you and me money. Lol
👍Good video but A lot of metal in there. Are big bore kits available for these motors do you know? I am also wondering though, who manufactures the nice custom wheels like on the orange 109 and the set at the end of the video? See so much custom stuff in videos in the US but very limited here in Aus 🇦🇺
Where are you guys located? I have a HEAVILY customized M109R that more than likely needs a new engine. I haven't torn it apart yet but I suspect that the 2nd gear sprocket exploded. The bike is to perfect for me to scrap
Greetings! We are located in Metuchen Nj.we have customers in all parts of US we get bikes shipped to us through a company called Uship in most cases or contact us www.cycleaddictionz.com we can rebuild that M109r better then it’s original assembly.
Clutch cover gaskets normally hold up well on just about any bike (lack of pressure) sump engines don’t create to much drama 🎭 in the engine though most people make drama during clutch changes and such a good eye and some experience should usually determine weather a clutch cover gasket could be reused or not especially for (testing) so not to waist coin or a new gasket on an engine that may need reopening .
@@busaj1 Thank you for that explanation, as a mechanic myself and having taken apart a bunch of primary covers on HD's I see where your coming from. That said that M109 motor looked like a bomb went off inside it. 👍 Ps. I have subscribed to your channel. 👍
when I start the my 2012 model m109r, the sound of rattling sound comes from the side of the clutch and as soon as you press the clutch lever, the sound stops what is the problem of the thing please help me
Greetings! It’s gonna be one of two things.you have a stretched clutch cable or bad torque converter behind clutch basket sometimes if hard shifting under acceleration the shaft may send energy backwards and something has to absorb that energy it can kick the factory heat locked ring nut off the basket and raise hell on the clutch worse case scenario.but I’m gonna gamble on clutch cable and readjust the clutch if it’s not shredded ok ✅ you must adjust the clutch from inside case if your installing a New clutch or Cable. must! I hope this points you in right direction.
@@sumitkkanungo5423 it is the 6 springs in the clutch hub, which sits inside of your clutch basket. Those springs act as a harmonic balancer and over time, they loosen up in the channels they sit and tend to rattle more. When they do, they end up making more noise at idle and sound like a bag of marbles. Also, they wear uneven and cause vibration around 3500 rpms while riding. Very normal for these bikes.
IKR!!! Not only that, you'd be forced to stand up after that. You feel every bump on the 9 with the low profile rear tire and a jarring hit like that would feel like you fractured your tailbone.
@@alanburgess7519 Yup. What we know makes the 6:10 point of this video unrealistic. Whatever he hit to tear off the drain plug and put a hole in the pan also had to hit the rear tire. It would have been BANG BANG or BANG BANG BANG if you include the front tire. Also, hitting the bottom of the engine is a different feel and sound. How could he "not know"? This dude must have been intoxicated.
@@bigpapam109 I'm sure he also ignored that if a hole deep enough to hit the bottom of the engine followed by the rear tire wasn't enough to make him pull over and check his bike. No awareness whatsoever.
CLICK BAIT WARNING:: Your title is misleading . IT'S "NOT"ENGINE FAILURE. IT'S THE DRIVER LOSING ENGINE OIL AND CONTINUED DRIVING!! So the engine didn't fail. The driver did.
