Here I saw a lot of magical moves. :) - Open driver door - turn engine on (do not start) - turn engine off - press door button three times - turn engine on (do not start) Blinkers will flash, doors will click. Now press any button on the remote. Doors will click and blinkers will flash also. That's all folks. PS. I had to clean the remote with isopropyl alcohol. It was all greasy inside. The water from the sweat evaporates, but the fat remains. I also changed the battery - 1616.
Thanks. My remote reset after removing the battery and keep aside for several hours. Now lock/ unlock is working but there is no hazard lights. How can I fix it? (It was there before remote reset)
@@Jbwyatt well, i didn't. It was an error. I swiched the internal radio component. Now i've a working key and a damaged one. I didn't find a way to program the cheap electonic i bought
Will that work if you can't actually start car? It will turn over but not start, I did what you said and it happened as it should of? Sorry I'm trying to sort my car on a budget, I'm a chick that likes cars but has no idea, so I tried doing a second and third time but no joy. But what is different is now when I unlock vehicle the hazards come on until I put key in ignition?
It wont start without the transponder chip. Its in the grey frame of your old key. I just used a stanley knife to neatly remove the transponder chip, made a slice in the new key where it sits and slotted it in without removing any of the housing so it wasnt loose. Worked a treat.
@@FuckTheSystem1987 Excellent.. Its a long story but I have a spare key that fits the lock but has the wrong transpoder inside it. Its a solid key from the replacement ignition barrel. I got one new key cut and put the old transponder into that. It works fine. It cost £35. I am looking to save money for the spare key. In short I have a key that won't fit the lock but has the right transponder inside and I have a key that fits the lock but has the wrong transonder inside. I guess I could cut it out and switch them. Nothing to lose I guess. I also have a spare transponder that opens and locks the doors. To get a key cut that will accept that cost £35. I don't know if there is a cheaper option for that? If anyone knows a cheap cutting service around South London or something I would be grateful
