I love how consistent dosan's personality is. He's funny because he's ridiculously logical and a tad awkward around people😂 It's a great balance with Dalmi's optimistic and idealistic personality.

Han Ji Pyeong is a typical KDrama lead. Successful, rich guy who loves you from a far. He's arrogant on the outside but is sweet deep inside. Never commits a mistake. Will support you secretly. He meets the girl and his personality softens. But Dosanie is a just a regular guy who is upfront with his feelings, awkward but dependable, shy but determined, flawed yet perfect. He is sweet towards his parents and his friends. His love is too pure for dalmi and he's willing to improve for her. He's the kind of person that will trust you and go thru the journey with you. This may be an unpopular opinion but in real life setting, NDS is the best romantic partner. We will never meet people as their perfect selves. the idea of discovering your strengths and weaknesses while achieving your dream together is beautiful. that makes dodal a great pair.

I know this kind of troupe ain't new, but still I find it refreshing since it wasn't often used. Guy being embarrassed, shy, and giddy while the girl is more forward with her actions. It's a nice dynamic specially in the kdrama world filled with rich handsome jerks who always get paired with naive crybaby heroine.

Nam jo hyuk can make every single detail of the expression. The way he expresses his emotion is so natural that everyone can mistake it as real. He is growing in every single drama. If you see each and every drama simultaneously you will see the revolution of his acting. He is doing better and better each and every single act. You will get to see something new, something different in each project. I just love the way he is improving. I can just say he is revolving into a great actor. Fighting Nam jo hyuk. We, fans are rooting for you.😎😀😉😊

do-san is underrated because they focus more on the second lead. i mean yes han jipyeong is a good boy and he might be the "first love" because of his letters. but as the episodes goes by,i think thag dal-mi is falling for the real do-san and i think that is beautiful. the feelings you develop irl is different from the love that you develop from letters.

It’s been a long time since I’ve found a drama that I thoroughly enjoy. The story line isn’t boring, the pacing is good, romantic scenes aren’t cliché, and all the characters are likeable! It’s nice to finally see a male lead that isn’t stone cold and a jerk. I love how Dosan is a pure and innocent gentlemen. I can’t even bring myself to dislike the antagonist, which could be good? The drama is only in its beginning episodes so I hope they don’t screw up the storyline or characters.

I can watch this a million times. I won't get tired. They are so cute!

I know this wasn’t sound like majority, but I love nam dosan so much, frankly speaking he’s innocent & kind I hope he quit play along with jipyeong and stood up on his own (he sure will be a decent businessman - can’t wait for the transformation) Also happy for chulsan finally he’s landed & living on (south) korean drama 😂

Refreshing to see that the first male lead seems to be the underdog in this drama (most kdramas have FML that are more successful and confident). Here, its finally right to feel like Im rooting for the better man instead of just the confident (first love) man that kdramas made me grew up in. If this is in another kdrama world, this is like you rooting for the ‘second lead’ vs the ‘first love main lead’ right? It feels that way for me. Sometimes i get insecure with what people are saying that Jipyeong should be the end game because he’s the first love, he’s more confident, successful, etc. But Ive been in that boat for most of the kdramas Ive watched. This time I want to root for the man who is always there for her (the guy who for most of the kdramas I watched would always be left behind). And this time, thankfully, I have high chance of not getting heartbroken. This is actually more like the reality of life. You dont always end up with your first love. You end up with the person who is always there for you and genuinely and loyally loves you.

Seriously why is everyone even guessing who will she end up with? No female leads choose the second lead. Dalmi will end up together with Dosan.

This scene is *AESTHETIC* A simple skinship yet brings out a lot of feels. Will totally give you butterflies 😍😍

I like Nam Joo-Hyuk's acting in this scene. He looks natural. Whenever an actor has to act like they don't care but they really do, I always watch them closely if their technique is cringy or not. I watch this drama bc of Suzy but I am surprised how good NJH is asan actor. His skills need more recognition.

I like how Do San always first takes a few seconds and then follows his heart! Doesn’t hold back! Whether it was asking about the music box or getting into the bus! This scene could have been cheesy but Dalmi actually portrays innocence when holding his hand which makes it sweet. Also you can see that Do San is resisting every urge to fold his fingers over hers as it is not exactly the right thing to do since he doesn’t know if she was honestly just comparing the hand sizes! Lol! But when she makes it clear she wants to wrap her fingers over his, he explodes with the kind of joy that only tender new found love can bring. His face says it all as he reciprocates her actions! And they nailed it with the background music! This scene is truly iconic! Well done Start up!

I don't hate jipyeong its just that i'm done with male leads who ends up playing with the female leads' hearts because they aren't aware of their love yet. Meanwhile, dosan is aware of his love for dalmi and will try and do everything to win the girl now which is refreshing. We love a male lead who will put in the effort to win the girl. I think dosan is slowly realizing he needs to set himself apart from the do san in the letters.
