...Still in the early Ramones mood. Guitars are doubled. (and I gave the guitar a new setup: less neck relief, pickup height) No copyright infringement intended.
Thanks! Plays a lot easier now. Those Harley Benton guitars need quite some time for the wood to settle in. I also lowered the bass side of the pickup and heightened the treble side for more clarity.
They save on labor, that's what keeps the price low. Same with my P-Bass. I restrung it a few hours ago with a heavier gauged set, so I had to readjust the trussrod and the intonation. I'm pretty sure I'll have to do some minor adjustments tomorrow. No big deal, because I like to fool around with the instruments.
For me it's not gunk, as my fingers are as dry as a desert. My bass strings die because of hardening, due to tension and vibration. Strings also don't like to be frequently tuned up and down. I often tune to D# or D standard. The average life span of a regular set of roundwounds is eight weeks only.
You should post tabs to all these Ramones-Core songs you know. I really wanna play more Lillingtons and Riverdales but I can't keep up with your fingers during some chords. You are possessed by Johnny Ramone lol. I've learned a lot just from watching your videos bro.
