@@connorlane2062 I think it would be better if they never met, but they show her recognizing the name. Luke was famous at that point anyways so there’s no way she hasn’t heard of him at least.
@@mederecord7991 Ahsoka is one partner that I would choose to be with among so many others she is a great force welder. putting aside Jedi and Sith. you can see the expression behind that mask Vader wares feel the conflicting emotions within him. I can't think of any other padawan or Jedi master that I'd want to fight against the new Galactic Empire with than Ahsoka Tano.
You can look at Ahsoka and Anakin very similarly. Anakin has an attachment to Ahsoka, Padmè, and Shmi Skywalker that prove to be his downfall. (Though, ironically, his attachment to Luke is what saves him in the end.) Shmi's death awakened the monster that would, eventually, become Darth Vader. Ahsoka's trial and subsequent banishment from the Jedi Order led Anakin to lose faith in the Jedi Order. Fear of Padmè's coming death is exactly what ends up leading her to that fate, and it's her death that allows Vader to fully consume Anakin. Ahsoka, while raised in the Jedi Temple from a very young age, has attachments as well. Anakin Skywalker becomes like an older brother to her. She mourns his death and vows to avenge him. But once the duel with Vader is finished, she accepts the reality that, while Anakin may be trapped somewhere deep within Vader, she cannot save him. She lets go of that anger and lives trying to fulfill the wish Anakin wanted: He wanted Jedi to save people, regardless of political affiliation. That's exactly what she's doing on Corvus. Saving the oppressed. Plo Koon is one of her closest and dearest friends. I assume she mourned his death as well, and let those emotions flow through her and leave in a healthy way. She risks her life and safety to save Rex during Order 66, despite it being so much easier to get to the hangar without him and leave him behind. But she doesn't. She removes the inhibitor chip and they escape together. She developed a crush on Lux Bonteri. A crush he, at one time, reciprocated. But she doesn't let it cloud her judgment or become all consuming like Anakin did. Attachments are a balancing act. Anakin attached to people too much, and let the fear of losing people consume him. Most Jedi detached too much, making them unable to see the Sith Lord hidden right under their noses. Ahsoka got the balance pretty much right, and she's able to form strong friendships but let go of people when they die or are beyond saving.
Quite ironic. The Jedi detached themselves from fear out of fear of attachment. It’s like the Nirvana dilemma. Nirvana is the absence of desire in a human, and without desire there is no longer pain. But monks who practice achieving Nirvana run into a problem that they now desire to stop desiring. I’m bad at explaining it, look up Alan Watts on the subject. It’s quite fascinating.
This proves ahsoka can show attachments and not fall to the dark side because she’s got a big heart who cares about everyone and the force is strong with her and guiding her in the right direction
@@pumpkingamebox same possibly my favorite. not only is she not anoyying like so many others but she actually does what makes sense and is kinda badass. top 5 characters in my book.
Who is Ahsoka? She is many things. A Jedi. A Padawan. A Commander. A Survivor. A Fugitive. A Soldier. A Citizen. A Friend. A Sister. A Hero. But most of all, she's an inspiration. And a good person
"I've seen what such feelings can do to a fully trained jedi knight. To the best of us" That was the final stick in the dam to send it flooding like a river.
With all the training Anakin have done for Ahsoka, with how he had brought up this padawan of his, it leads me to believe that, not just proving how well and greatness she is amount onto by herself, Ahsoka also represent the lights of Anakin, and is somehow a goods, a glimpse of light Anakin left for the world when the whole world is clouded in darkness.
To think that characters like her and Maul were meant to be “small characters to be killed off” to then become some of the most loved and cherished characters in the whole franchise her story is amazing and heartbreaking as put by Dave Filoni and John Faverou in the Mando behind the scenes “Star Wars is about family it’s always been about family or the connections that form a family Anakin leaves his mother and Qui’Qon dies making Obi’wan an estranged father and then brother figure Anakin mother dies and he loses himself in grief Anakin turns to the dark side to save what family he has left in padme then loses himself only for his son years later to come and save his father from himself the central core of why we care about Star Wars isn’t because of the cool aliens or space magic but because it’s a deep relationship to family” (might have exaggerated a bit but you get it) Ashoka was Anakins sister she said it herself she was taught and she learned from him and her mistakes she became the ultimate symbol of what a Jedi SHOULD be not following political agendas or orders but doin what was RIGHT ALWAYS even if it meant your life’s he was true and brave and fearless in the face of evil and horror she is so true she to the essence of the purity of the force rather than a specific side that she literally cleansed a new set of sabers for herself and her relationship with Anakin is truly heartbreaking to watch she was so pure of heart she REFUSED to kill her own clones after they had turned on her Disney pinned the failure of the sequels on “Well they can’t just appreciate a strong female character” No You just forget how to make one........ She is literally in my top 5 favorite Star Wars characters of all time and this tribute my friend was the best I’ve ever seen My favorite part was the middle because that’s where it explored her deep emotional connections and problems with being a Jedi and with Anakin and everyone else around her This is amazing and perfect and I can’t wait to see what your going to do next KEEP GOING!
Holy shit man. No kidding, but this is one of the BEST comments i have ever seen man. Huge respect for your word choices. I agree for 100% with u, everything u said was just pure from the heart!
Ahsoka was always my favourite, even when i was younger and watched the first episodes live. i even had an ahsoka action figure that i played with with my brothers (they had anakin and obi-wan), my cousin (he had luke) and my sister (she had padme). this made me cry but thank you so much!! I could watch this over and over again (and i probably will lol). this was an amazing tribute and i thank you for the amount of effort you put into this beautiful piece!!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️
My favourite Star Wars character, ever. Whenever I do my “unabridged” Star Wars marathon, it’s Ashoka I fall for & its Ashoka I muse over long after the final credits roll.
Once again, incredible video. Ahsoka kind of annoy me at first in Clone Wars, but in the end she's one of the greatest Star Wars characters ever created ❤️ And you payed her tribute perfectly 🔥
That was the purpose. Dave Filoni wanted Ahsoka to seem annoying in the start because she was young and reckless. Then as time progresses she becomes one of, if not THE best character in Star Wars. The character development was perfect.
Beautiful, Exhilarating, Haunting Tribute. Captures at core the entire essence of who Ahsoka is, what she means to me and also the power of the Star Wars universe as a medium for storytelling, showing all the best cultural & legendary traditions.
This was an amazing video. It occurred to me at one point while watching it that from Darth Vader's perspective, he never saw Ahsoka's fate and seemed confused when he struck down Obi-Wan. I have to wonder if when he was prodding Obi-Wans cloak he was thinking something like "He disappeared. Just like Ahsoka when I... So then she really is dead."
@@mederecord7991 was literally in my room tearing; I’ve never been a huge Ahsoka fan but this video made me see that Ahsoka is literally the audiences true perspective of what it’s like being a jedi during the clone wars, so much confliction upon what is right and wrong and the punishment of letting our feelings get the better of us. Once again a really good video
Girls: oh men will never understand pain they’ll never cry. When Anakin yelled I HATE YOU is where men cried When Vader said Ahsoka is where legends cried
This was.....amazing! I have no words! Ahsoka is my favorite character and you put so many emotions and experiences in one video.....outstanding job! This was so empowering, I almost cried watching all the memories come back from the cw.
Omg....I absolutely love this video!! It was amazing and literally made me fall in love with Ashoka Tano all over again. Thanks for the amazing video again!!
This is amazing. it reflects on Ahsoka's entire development as a character, and being the huge Star Wars fan that I am, by the end of this I had tears in my eyes and goosebumps all over. wonderful job.
This makes me feel like Ahsoka really is apart of me because watching this gives me the strength every day to run the 332nd Company I’m co owner in so thank you for making this.
Ashoka was a victim of both, Anakin and the always evil war. But she took the right path, the best one she could take. That's the greatness of Star Wars, that it shows you how the right path is different according to your circumstances and the people that is around you. Obi-wan, Ashoka, Anakin, Luke, Leia, Boba, Jango, Djarin, the clones... Great characters for a great story. Thank you, Lucas, and now, thank you Favreau and Filoni. Of course, we also got our Siths, Jar Jar Abrahams and his apprentice Johnson. But Filoni can bring balance to the Force with the alternate universe creation. That is the way.
As always you deliver!! Everyone else seems to just smash clips together hopping it’ll be cool you can feel the amount of effort you put in man. Keep it up.
I love this tribute its one of the best ones ive seen. It doesnt have how the clone wars background music during the dialogue clashes with the music put in the background. This is some really great editing!
